WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News host Jesse Watters raised concerns about whether Americans are prepared to "gamble our country away on a frightened woman" during his commentary on Vice President Kamala Harris.

In his monologue on the Tuesday, August 27, episode of 'Jesse Watters Primetime', Watters criticized Harris for what he described as inconsistent policy positions, questioning her clarity on key issues.

He remarked, “Democrats haven’t decided what Kamala Harris believes in. They haven’t decided. Is she a Joe Biden Democrat or a Trump Republican? Is she Joe Biden’s vice president or just a former prosecutor? Is she the border czar or not?”

Jesse Watters also took issue with Kamala Harris’ forthcoming CNN interview with anchor Dana Bash.

He pointed out, “It will be taped, Dana Bash will be asking the questions, and Coach Walz will sit right next to Kamala the whole time,” before continuing, “She took the whole week off to prepare for a CNN interview with her running mate. Do they have some staffer playing Dana Bash doing mock interviews?"

"Probably, because when she was invited to a DC dinner party, she was so anxious she had staffers hold a mock dinner party. She even considered drinking wine in the mock prep, but her handlers decided no.”

Further criticizing Harris’ preparation and demeanor, Watters argued, “We don’t need a president who isn’t prepared to go to a dinner party, or a Democrat president afraid of Democrat reporters."

"Trump did a live townhall on CNN and he didn’t spend a week worrying about it. CNN was the one worrying. And Trump doesn’t need to pretend to go to dinner so that he’s ready for dinner. He knows who he is, you know who he is, and you know what he wants to do.”

Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, will participate in a sit-down interview with CNN’s Dana Bash on Thursday, August 29. The broadcast will be Harris and Walz's first joint interview after joining the presidential campaign.

Jesse Watters doubts Kamala Harris’ authenticity, says she 'pretends' to be somebody else

Jesse Watters contended that Kamala Harris is not authentic and lacks direction, asserting, “Kamala Harris pretends to be somebody she’s not and doesn’t know what she wants to do until her campaign tells her. When world leaders stood across the poker table from Kamala Harris, they smell fear. They know her tells.”

He questioned, “Are you gonna gamble our country away on a frightened woman too insecure to tell us who she is?”

Earlier, the Fox News host faced backlash this week after being accused of making a suggestive comment about Harris during a live broadcast.

He had said, “We don’t know who she is. We don’t know what she believes,” and added, “She’s gonna get paralyzed in the Situation Room while the generals have their way with her.” His female co-hosts quickly criticized the remark, urging him to “take it back".

Watters responded, “Have their way with her! Control her!” emphasizing, “Not in a sexual way.”

Internet reacts to Jesse Watters’ critique of Kamala Harris

Jesse Watters’ critique of Kamala Harris received widespread criticism.

One user wrote, "Harris has been bold and cheerful. It's Watters who is terrified, he's letting his misogynist freak flag fly."

Another user commented, "As opposed to a frightened, geriatric felon? Hell yes."

One person replied, "Jesse is a non-factor. Who cares? nobody."

Another added, "Somebody’s obsessed….I’m flattered :)"

One said, "When you read between the lines of what MAGA says about Kamala, it's really just misogyny. Nothing more. She isn't dumb. She isn't scared. She doesn't cackle. That is just how some men see all women, and they gravitate toward someone like Trump, who shares that view."

Another wrote, "Watters isn't called the dumbest man on teevee for nought."
