NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On the June 27 episode of Fox News' 'Jesse Watters Primetime', host Jesse Watters dismissed suggestions that President Joe Biden could "change his attitude and style", claiming that Democrats and media are handing Biden 'too many scripts,' ahead of the first CNN Presidential Debate scheduled on June 27.

Reportedly, Biden and former President Donald Trump will meet for their first presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle in Atlanta with CNN's Phil Mattingly and Victor Blackwell outlining the debate rules and give viewers a preview of what to expect from the event.

Fox News Channel will broadcast the CNN presidential debate simulcast at 9:00 pm ET on June 27.

Jesse Watters criticizes Biden's debate prep, says he wants 'to be a Kennedy'

During his monologue, Watters dissected the current state of Biden’s public persona, beginning with a critique rooted in Biden's longstanding aspirations and perceived shortcomings.

He said, “Joe Biden has always wanted to be a Kennedy, but didn't have the charm, looks or class. Alas, he's an elder statesman or, as the New York Times says, 'an elderly statesman conjuring up thoughts of frailty and a fading spirit.' The Times says: 'Sure a little foundation will keep him from looking frail and pasty, but what Biden really needs is to change his attitude and style.'”

Watters then asked, "How does an 81 year old change his attitude and style at all, let alone in a week?"

Replying to his own question, he said that The Times suggested that Biden should channel Betty White in the debate, maintaining a youthful spirit and sharp wit, similar to her portrayal on TV. Watters also pointed out Times' advise to Biden to approach the debate as if it were a 'Golden Girls' audition.

Watters also pointed out the absurdity of expecting Biden to transform into someone he fundamentally is not, especially in such a short time frame.

“So the man who's debated more than any other living politician still needs to spend the week in an airport hangar slash movie theater with Steven Spielberg's lights, production light equipment and 16 camp counselors channeling someone he's not.”

He concluded by saying, "We don’t know what to expect but they’ve been handing this man too many scripts."

Insights into Biden's debate preparation at Camp David

According to The New York Times, at Camp David, Biden and his close advisors have flexible workdays focused on refining strategies for the upcoming debate.

They are strategizing on anticipating Trump's potential attacks, undermining his policies, and ensuring Biden stays focused on presenting a clear contrast in character and policies.

Biden's campaign sees the debate as a chance to take a proactive stance on issues like immigration and abortion rights.

This week also marks two years since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, which protected abortion rights.

Biden advisors believe the debate's setting will spotlight Trump's vulnerabilities and dispel misconceptions about Biden's public competence perpetuated by misleading videos.

The debate will take place in a closed Atlanta studio without an audience, with each candidate's microphone muted when not speaking.

Netizens criticize Jesse Watters

Watters faced backlash online for claiming Democrats and media are feeding Biden with scripts

A viewer expressed, "Scripts" as in Drugs or Question and answers."

A remark underscored, "Both kinds scripted answers and prescriptions."

However, others commented, "Jesse's gone full-on stupid."

In a similar fashion, another observer added, "There are no notes, promoters, props or scripts allowed for tomorrow’s debate. Next lame talking point".

Furthermore, a viewer pointed out, "JESSE WATTERS: I'm not really this big of a dingdong, I just play one on TV."

Joining the discussion, a follower asked, "You know this? Show the facts."

Delving deeper into the topic, an individual elaborated, "Tonight on the BS racist power hour, some shit Jesse made up."
