NORMANDY, FRANCE: Director Steven Spielberg, known for his expertise in crafting impactful cinematic scenes, played a key role in preparing President Joe Biden for his address at Pointe du Hoc.

Spielberg was present at the Hotel Intercontinental in Paris during Biden's final rehearsal and briefing on Friday morning for what the White House had characterized as a significant speech on democracy, as per a reliable source familiar with the preparations.

Additionally, Spielberg is collaborating with the Democratic National Committee to strategize for the upcoming national convention in August, where Joe Biden is set to formally accept the party's presidential nomination.

In these consultations, Spielberg has been actively engaged in guiding and effectively presenting the 81-year-old incumbent’s narrative and articulating his vision for a second term, according to Daily Mail.

Steven Spielberg’s tryst with President Joe Biden

Steven Spielberg, a long-standing supporter of the Democrat statesman, participated in a Los Angeles fundraiser with Biden in December.

Additionally, Spielberg’s former DreamWorks partner, Jeffrey Katzenberg, serves as a co-chair for Joe Biden's re-election campaign.

Spielberg and actor Tom Hanks attended the 80th anniversary event of D-Day in Normandy, France, where they met with D-Day veterans and later dined with their wives in Paris.

Neither Spielberg nor Hanks attended Biden's Friday speech on democracy, which took place at the same spot where Ronald Reagan delivered his 'Boys of Pointe Du Hoc' speech in 1984.

Spielberg, recognized for his storytelling prowess and cinematic contributions related to World War II and the D-Day invasion, has received two Academy Awards for Best Director for 'Saving Private Ryan' and 'Schindler's List'.

President Biden's speech, delivered from Pointe du Hoc, honored the US Army rangers who scaled the 100-foot-high cliffs 80 years ago.

The POTUS paid homage at the Rangers Memorial before his address, recognizing the sacrifice of those who bravely stormed the cliffs under heavy fire from German artillery.

President Biden spoke for approximately 11 minutes, saying, “Because of them the war turned. They stood against Hitler's aggression. Does anyone doubt that they would want America to stand up against Putin's aggression here in Europe today?”

“American democracy asks the hardest of things, to believe that we're part of something bigger than ourselves...That's what the rangers at Pointe du Hoc did, that's what they decided, that's what every soldier and every Marine who stormed this beaches decided,” he remarked.

Internet lambasts Joe Biden bringing in Steven Spielberg to help out with the campaign

People online slammed President Joe Biden and Democrats for covertly employing the services of Director Steven Spielberg, in order to assist him in his presidential campaign.

One person said, "The fact that Democrats place so much importance on Hollywood celebrities is all you need to know about them."

Another person wrote, "Wow! That must’ve been his most difficult production ever! I don’t envy anyone who’s job it is to make Biden look good!"

Another person commented, "Wow. The “president” of the USA taking speech tips from a Hollywood director. But, Biden’s term has been like living in a horror/comedy/true crime movie, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

One person remarked, "Hey Steven it didn’t work. Stick with movies. You can’t make Biden younger or smarter with your movie magic."

Another person argued, "Very fitting, the whole Biden administration is a big production, a made for TV drama, none of it’s real, puppets at the front , people in charge are behind the scenes…."

Finally, this person quipped, "Just propping up Weekend at Bernie’s."
