LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jill Zarin, one of the stars of the ‘Real Housewives of New York City’, has been removed from the upcoming reunion series ‘The Golden Life’ after she reportedly made racist comments about Bad Bunny following his halftime performance at Super Bowl LX.

Blink49 Studios, which is producing the show, shared in a statement on Tuesday, February 10, “In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life.’ We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”

In the now-deleted video post, Zarin had reportedly said, “We all agree — it was the worst halftime show ever. It’s 250 years that we’re celebrating right now in the United States, and I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish.”

The TV personality also accused the Spanish rapper of being “insecure” as she claimed, “He doesn’t have to be grabbing himself every five seconds.”

Zarin further shared that the performance was “was a political statement, and I’m not taking a side one way or the other. I just do. I think it was an ICE thing.”

Jill Zarin mocks Lady Gaga

That was not it, as the 62-year-old also slammed Lady Gaga, who made a cameo in the much-talked-about halftime show.

“Lady Gaga got a facelift — I didn’t recognize her! I literally had to Google her face to see who it was. We all couldn’t agree who it was. So that was kind of fun in the middle of halftime. At least it gave me something to do, because it was so hard to watch,” Zarin added.

Jill Zarin accepts her 'mistake'

However, following the firing, Zarin has defended herself. She told In Touch exclusively, “They didn’t even give me a chance. I took it down right away. People make mistakes. I’m human.”

Meanwhile, Zarin was not the only one who called out Bad Bunny’s performance, President Donald Trump also voiced his displeasure.

He wrote on Truth Social, “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.”

The Republican leader called the Grammy winner’s dance “disgusting” and added that his performance was “just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!”
