LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The ongoing feud between President Donald Trump and comedian Jimmy Kimmel escalated during Kimmel’s latest monologue. On his show, Kimmel mocked Trump’s primetime address, White House plaques, and slammed the FCC, leaving no topic untouched.

Kimmel specifically criticized Trump’s behavior and public statements, claiming no one respects him and that the world is laughing at him. He also shared a warning about the president’s actions at the White House.

Jimmy Kimmel ridicules Trump over White House speech and plaques

During the December 18 primetime address, Kimmel took aim at Trump’s speech, joking, "It's weird to think that had a couple of states just gone the other way, he'd be hosting one of those shows. Trump shouldn't be pre-empting 'The Floor.' He should be mopping it." He called it a "surprise, primetime episode of 'The Worst Wing'" and a "liar-side chat."

Kimmel also mocked the new plaques Trump installed criticizing former President Joe Biden, calling the plaques “real” and emphasizing, "We didn't alter these." He labeled Trump a "sad individual," suggesting the plaques reflected insecurity because Trump knows "deep down" that "no one respects him" and "the world is laughing at him."

Kimmel added, "It takes a special kind of lunatic to get his insults cast in bronze," and said, "Can we please put this man in a home before he completely destroys the one he's in now."

Jimmy Kimmel criticizes FCC hearing and Brendan Carr

Kimmel also addressed the Senate hearing on December 17 related to the temporary suspension of his show in September under FCC chair Brendan Carr. He mocked Carr as a "hairless colon weasel" and called the hearing "so weird" to watch, noting it focused entirely on him.

The comedian criticized the hearing as ineffective, saying, "No one watched this, no one admitted to anything, nothing was done to prevent it from happening again, no one was held accountable, and your freedom of speech is only guaranteed depending upon what you have to say. It was not the bipartisan effort we might have expected."

Jimmy Kimmel warns about Trump’s insecurity and public image

Throughout the monologue, Kimmel suggested Trump’s public actions, including attacks on Biden and self-aggrandizing plaques, stem from insecurity. He emphasized that these moves show Trump knows he lacks respect and that the world is mocking him.

Kimmel’s sharp critique extended beyond jokes, highlighting both the absurdity of Trump’s behavior and the ongoing tensions between the comedian and the president.
