Jimmy Kimmel takes jab at Trump’s ‘mysterious hand bruising’ and cover-up: ‘Sloppier than Epstein one’

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday, September 2, discussed President Donald Trump’s major bruises, which have repeatedly been seen on his hands over the past few months, along with swelling around the president’s ankles.

During his show, Kimmel displayed two close-up pictures of Trump’s hand, the first showing it badly bruised, and the second appearing to be covered with makeup.

During the opening monologue of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on September 2, Kimmel said, "He has mysterious bruising on his hand, which they tried to cover up with make-up. This cover-up is even sloppier than the Epstein one."

"How could anyone let him go out like this? He had to have done that himself, right? ‘Looks great, sir. No one will notice a thing," he added.

He further said, "The White House claims the reason for these bruises, and his big fat elephant ankles, is he suffers from a condition known as chronic venous insufficiency. Which, in layman’s terms, means he’s got a very small venous. He’s got an insufficient venous," Kimmel added.

During the monologue, Kimmel also took a jab at Trump’s press conference, where the POTUS tried to downplay concerns about his health.

"But Trump says he’s in great health and he’s never felt better. And, despite the fact that he looks like a pumpkin that got left in a hatchback on a hundred-degree day, he is definitely not dead," Kimmel said. The talk show host then played a clip from press conference where the president was asked about the social media speculation on his death.

Interestingly, Kimmel zoomed in on the face of Vice President JD Vance, who stood behind Trump, and said that Vance was the "only one smiling" in the room.

He said, "Good old JD. He hears the words 'Trump dead', he lights up like a Christmas tree." Kimmel further said that Trump likely won’t be going anywhere anytime soon, while taking another jab at the president.

He said, "Here’s the thing: Donald Trump will never die. Forget it. He’s like Dracula: he’s going to keep sucking the life out of us forever.

Body language expert says Trump appears ‘low on energy'

Body language expert Judi James told The Irish Star that despite Donald Trump’s confidence at press conference, something still seemed out of the ordinary for the president, who was recently diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency.

"The line was handed to the president on a plate and ripe for one of his comedy one-liners to lay all the health rumors to rest, and the chuckles of expectation from Vance and the others suggested they were waiting for this too," she said.

James added, "But Trump’s performance had been predominantly low on energy at this point and low on any of his usual showboating."

"Instead of ripping into a public refute of both his demise and rumors of illness, he instead paused and said ‘no’ he hadn’t heard about that. His expression remained serious and although his chin was raised his lip held in a clamp as his eyes fell diagonally to his right as though taking the news and digesting it," she further mentioned.
