LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel unleashed a furious monologue aimed at President Donald Trump this week, ripping into the president’s comments about two Minneapolis residents who were killed by federal agents.

Kimmel’s outrage was sparked by a clip from Trump’s interview with 'NBC Nightly News' anchor Tom Llamas, which is set to air in full during the Super Bowl pre-game show. In the interview, Trump was asked about the January shootings of Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good, both US citizens.

Trump said he was “not happy” about their deaths but added a remark that immediately drew backlash. “He was not an angel, and she was not an angel,” the president said.

“You don’t know anything about those people,” Kimmel said directly to Trump during his monologue. “How dare you weigh in on what they were and what they weren’t?”

The host didn’t stop there, escalating his criticism as the audience reacted. “Keep your stupid thoughts in your diaper where they belong on this subject,” the late-night host added.

Kimmel also took aim at Trump’s use of the word “angel” itself, pivoting to his past associations. “And second of all, while we’re identifying angels: Jeffrey Epstein was your best friend, so maybe leave angels out of the conversation,” he said.

Trump has denied knowing about Epstein’s trafficking crimes, though Kimmel pointed out that the POTUS' shifting comments over the years, along with multiple mentions in released Epstein files, have raised questions about those claims.

Trump's remarks about ICE spark more mockery from Jimmy Kimmel

Kimmel also zeroed in on another part of Trump’s NBC interview, where the president discussed the emotional toll of the shootings.

“You know who feels worse about it than anybody? The people of ICE,” Trump said in the interview.

Kimmel responded with disbelief. “There are a lot of people who would think it would be the parents or the spouses or the children of the victims,” he said.

Then came another jab, delivered with biting sarcasm. “But then, you know, there are a lot of people who don’t have a brain that’s shrunken down smaller than one of an Oompa Loompa’s balls,” Kimmel said, drawing loud reaction from the crowd.

He followed it up with a dark comparison: “It’s like what John Wayne Gacy told the cops when they found all the bodies in his basement: ‘Nobody’s more torn up about this than me!’

Trump’s shifting stance on ICE becomes a punchline

While Trump has repeatedly defended ICE’s actions in Minneapolis, Kimmel noted that the administration appears to have softened its approach.

On Wednesday, Trump’s administration announced it would withdraw 700 ICE agents from Minneapolis, though 2,000 agents will still remain in the city.

The late-night host then played another clip from Trump’s NBC interview in which the president said he was considering sending ICE agents into “five cities.” “But we want to be invited,” the Republican leader said.

“They want to be invited,” Kimmel mocked. “Isn’t that the plot of the movie 'Sinners': you have to invite the monsters in?”
