WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump on Thursday, February 5, launched the TrumpRx website, promising that the new initiative will allow Americans to "save a fortune" on high-cost medications ranging from Ozempic to fertility treatments.

The program centers on a "lowest price" guarantee, with Trump stating that US citizens will no longer pay more for medications than any other nation in the world.

During the launch event, Trump declared, “This is a very big deal. People are going to save a lot of money and be healthy.”

He emphasized that the focus of the website is to guarantee that "the United States will pay the lowest price paid by any other country,” ending what he described as a long history of Americans overpaying.

Trump argued that the United States has been unfairly subsidizing global medication costs, losing hundreds of billions of dollars every year.

He promised to change this by matching the cheapest prices found in any other nation, stating, "So we're taking the lowest price paid for d***s we will pay equal to whatever the lowest price anywhere in the world that's the price that you're going to be paying it's a tremendous reduction."

Promoting the transparency of the new system, Trump told the audience, “You’re going to see numbers that you’re not going to believe,” noting that while other nations previously paid pennies on the dollar, “Americans have long been paying the highest d**g prices anywhere in the world.”

Dr Mehmet Oz urges Americans to use site for discounts

The administration has already secured agreements with five major pharma giants that are AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, EMD Serono, Novo Nordisk, and Pfizer to facilitate "massive price reductions" on 40 of the nation's most popular branded d***s.

Dr Mehmet Oz, administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, highlighted the potential public health impact, specifically regarding weight loss and family planning.

Oz boasted that “America will lose about 100 million pounds this year” due to more accessible GLP-1 d***s, and with regards to affordable fertility treatments, he stated, “We’re gonna have a lot of Trump babies with these costs.”

He urged all citizens to utilize the free service, noting that “you should not be buying d***s anymore going forward without at least checking to see if those medications are available at these discounted prices.”
