Joe Rogan and Andrew Schulz mock Kamala Harris’ claim of being ‘most qualified’ candidate

WASHINGTON, DC: Podcaster Joe Rogan and comedian Andrew Schulz took aim at Kamala Harris after the former vice president claimed “some people” had called her the most qualified person ever to run for president. Harris made the remark during her ongoing book tour promoting '107 Days,' a memoir recounting her 2024 campaign experience.
Speaking at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC, Harris joined journalist Kara Swisher to discuss her time in the White House, her loss in the 2024 election, and her political future. At one point, she touted her credentials, saying, “Some people have actually said I was the most qualified candidate ever to run for president.”

Joe Rogan calls Kamala Harris’ self-praise ‘unbelievable’
On the latest episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience,' the host couldn’t resist mocking Harris’ self-congratulatory tone. “She was on stage with Kara Swisher, and Kara Swisher was kind of like ragging on her a little bit,” Rogan recalled. “She was like, ‘Some people said that I was the most qualified person to ever run for president.’ Like, who said that? And Kara’s like, ‘Some people said that? Who said that?’”

Rogan went on to compare Harris’ record with that of President Donald Trump and former President Joe Biden, calling the remark “unbelievable.” “You are literally running against a guy who was already president,” Rogan said. “So, if you’re going based on your resume, you’re not more qualified than Biden. Biden was vice president for eight years!”

The podcaster then criticized Harris’ tendency to use what he described as “political filler talk,” likening her phrasing to Trump’s famous “some people are saying” trope.
Andrew Schulz says book tour ‘reminds voters why she lost’
Comedian Andrew Schulz agreed, adding that Harris’ book tour was inadvertently doing more harm than good. “When she went away for a while, I think you could pretend about what she was and what she stood for,” Schulz said. “But now she’s back out there, and people are remembering exactly why she lost.”

He pointed to renewed controversies stirred by Harris’ past remarks, including her resurfaced 2021 Columbus Day message, where she said the US “must not shy away” from its “shameful past” of European explorers who she said ushered "in a wave of devastation for tribal nations."

Rogan chimed in, joking, “Did you see her Columbus Day message? Oh God. It was like, ‘Don’t forget the horrors that the Europeans did.’ Jesus Christ. Scolding!”
Rogan then cracked that “Columbus is the only immigrant they hate,” mocking progressives for preaching globalism while denouncing exploration. Harris’ team has not publicly addressed the podcasters’ remarks or the backlash surrounding her self-praise during the '107 Days' promotional tour.
