AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan has accused Kamala Harris’ campaign of getting "scared" after talks for an interview fell apart, just days before the 2024 presidential election.

In a recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience', the podcaster opened up about his attempts to have the then-vice president on his show, claiming the campaign backed out due to fear of the conversation.

Joe Rogan denies sabotaging Kamala Harris' interview

Joe Rogan, who successfully interviewed President Donald Trump before the election, said he had hoped to release both interviews on the same day. However, he revealed that the Harris campaign couldn’t agree on several issues, including scheduling and the allotted time for the interview, MediaITE reported.

In response to claims made in an upcoming book suggesting Rogan sabotaged the potential Harris interview to favor Trump, the podcaster firmly denied the accusations, insisting that he would have been more than willing to have Harris on the show.

“It’s just normal political bulls**t. They just lie. They cover their a*s, and they lie. I would have been very happy to have her on, and like I said, the goal was to release both the same day,” he said.

Rogan also expressed that, had the interview taken place, he would have been respectful and accommodating, saying he would have been "nice" and even “held her hand” during the conversation.

“They just got scared. They could have put her in. I would have held her hand. We would have had a conversation. Not that I need to hold, you-know, the vice president’s hand,” the podcaster remarked.

Rogan’s comments came in response to a conversation with his guest, Adam Curry, who joked that Rogan might have voted for Harris. Rogan quickly dismissed the idea, laughing it off and saying, “No, I wouldn’t have done that. I wasn’t going to vote for her.”

Joe Rogan faces backlash after remarks about Kamala Harris

Joe Rogan faced intense backlash on Facebook after his comments about Kamala Harris went viral. Many users criticized him for his remarks, with some calling him a "bigoted misogynist" and accusing him of sabotaging her potential interview.

A user said, "Most bigoted misogynists would believe that they would need to “hold the hand” of an accomplished and intelligent Black woman."

Another added, "Joe is a stain on the universe."

A user saif, "He's lying. He created unnecessary disputes and delayed and delayed then gave tRump a prime, extended interview while his rally goers were waiting for him. It was right before the election, too. I was not fooled. He NEVER wanted Kamala on his show. Stop it with the fake niceties now, you liar."

"Liar. You blocked her. Low life Rogaine," said a critic.

A person mocked, "Now THAT'S funny."

Another added, "This dude kisses the ring of rich establishment dudes and referred to Kamala as doing well at times because of her “handlers”. He called Tim walz creepy, never mentioning his record on school lunches etc…"

One said, "He’s just backpedaling now, becuase he’s been caught simping points for trump gains. He used to be decent. Now just another guy banging on the drum to prop up the rich. Ever hear Rogan talk about groceries? He’s not one of us! He could care less what they cost."
