LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the Sunday, February 25, installment of 'Last Week Tonight,' John Oliver turned his comedic lens towards former President Donald Trump's peculiar fascination with the number 16 and his stance on abortion bans.

The host dove into a report from The New York Times that shed light on the ex-POTUS' consideration of a federal abortion ban at 16 weeks, attributing the choice to the number's evenness.

During a private conversation, Trump apparently remarked, "Know what I like about 16? It's even. It’s four months."

John Oliver's sharp wit targets Donald Trump's Jeffrey Epstein connection

According to Wrap, Oliver, never one to shy away from satire, wittily remarked, "Starting any sentence with 'You know what I like about 16?' should be off-limits for anyone with this many photos with Jeffrey Epstein."

This remark prompted the on-screen display of various images featuring Trump alongside the disgraced financier known for his involvement in a high-profile sexual abuse case.

The comedian also took a jab at one of Trump's Truth Social posts regarding in vitro fertilization (IVF) in Alabama in response to a state supreme court ruling about frozen embryos being considered children.

While expressing support for IVF, the ex-POTUS highlighted the Republican Party's perspective on the "miracle of life" and family values.

John Oliver targets Donald Trump's punctuation quirks

Oliver humorously observed the unique impact of Trump's distinctive punctuation style on what would otherwise be considered wholesome statements.

In the Truth Social post, Trump wrote, "The Republican Party should always be on the side of the Miracle of Life – and the side of Mothers, Fathers, and their Beautiful Babies. IVF is an important part of that, and our Great Republican Party will always be with you, in your quest, for the ULTIMATE JOY IN LIFE!"

"It’s incredible how even objectively wholesome sentences take on an air of creepiness when passed through the chaotic Trump punctuation filter," joked the comedian.

Oliver also criticized Alabama's ruling regarding frozen embryos, describing the situation as "chaos." He quipped, "Wrong for a bunch of reasons – mainly if you freeze an embryo it’s fine, if you freeze a person, you have some explaining to do."
