LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After his return to 'The Daily Show' on Monday, July 8, Jon Stewart amusingly likened the upcoming presidential election to the dramatic timelines of reality television, particularly drawing parallels with 'The Bachelor'.

Stewart's wit was on full display as he expressed concerns over the perceived shortage of time to replace Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket ahead of the November 5 election.

Jon Stewart hilariously compares election time to reality TV

"Four months is for-f**ing-ever," Jon Stewart said, contrasting the prolonged election period in the United States with the rapid pace of elections in other countries. "Britain just held an election in two months. France had two in one month, defeated fascism, and still had time to have an affair with Denmark."

The comedian humorously extended his comparison, remarking, "Four months is 119 days. There are contestants on 'The Bachelor', who haven’t even met yet, that will get married and divorced between now and the election. We have nothing but time."

Stewart also integrated other pop culture references into his monologue, suggesting a dramatic scenario akin to reality TV for the Democratic National Convention (DNC).

"On Tuesday, the winner could move on to the next round and then face Biden," he mused.

"Wednesday will be an off day, bus tour to find the restaurant from The Bear. Thursday, the party emerges, energized, unified, sanctified. You could televise the entire proceeding for four days. You could call it, oh I don’t know, The Apprentice. I’m just spit-balling here," Stewart added.

Donald Trump’s tenure on NBC’s 'The Apprentice' and the upcoming film about him share the title, while despite recent concerns over Biden's health raised during a debate, the President has firmly stated his commitment to staying in the race, dismissing any speculation about his exit.

Public opinions reflect varied views on Joe Biden’s candidacy

Users on Jon Stewart's video from 'The Daily Show' expressed a spectrum of opinions regarding Joe Biden’s decision to run for a second term, highlighting concerns over strategy, political legacy, and the broader state of American politics.

One social media user wrote, "I thought it was very irresponsible of Biden to run for a second term and for the Democratic Party to allow it."

Another commented, "Feinstein, RBG, and all the older candidates who didn’t retire on time mostly led to terrible outcomes."

One person stated, "Playing defense all the time is not a winning strategy."

Another added, "Troubling moments of disconnect" is just what American politics is about now."

One individual wrote, "This clip should be required viewing by all elected Dem representatives....and the media."

Another commented, "To be fair, that would explain Biden asking Mitterrand how long he's back for."

One person said, "The sound that sharpie makes on the chart, gives me the same shivers as the Biden/ Trump debate and beyond."

Another wrote, "This is the most depressing election of my lifetime."
