Joy Behar compared the current state of the world to the chaos of the French Revolution, saying, “I feel like we're living in the reign of Terror. Am I the only one here to remember the French Revolution.”
She added that every day she wakes up to see Trump creating more chaos and misery around the world.
Behar criticized, "I really feel like every day I wake up and he has created more chaos more misery around the world. The economy is going down the toilet, gas prices are going through the roof."

Trump promises strong US economy in 2026
Trump promised that 2026 would be a strong year for the economy. In his State of the Union address less than two weeks ago, he said, “The roaring economy is roaring like never before.”
On February 11, after the January jobs report showed 130,000 new jobs, Trump posted on social media: “WOW! The Golden Age of America is upon us!!!”
Trump’s administration points to construction job gains outside housing as a sign of possible future hiring growth. He often highlights that these jobs go to US-born workers rather than immigrants.
Speaking in Texas in February, just before the US and Israel attacked Iran, Trump said, “Slashing energy costs is among the most important actions we can take to bring down prices for American consumers. Because when you cut the cost of energy, you really cut, you just cut the cost of everything.”
White House defends Trump policy after Operation Epic Fury
The administration is relying on plans to limit energy price increases, betting that the conflict will end soon or that it can get more tankers through the Strait of Hormuz.
White House deputy press secretary Kush Desai said, “The president has been clear about short term disruptions due to Operation Epic Fury even as US and allied forces make stunning progress against the Iranian terrorist regime."
Desai added, “The long run trend, however, has been clear: President Trump’s economic agenda continues to unleash robust private sector job, investment, and economic growth that’s driving America’s resurgence.”
Speaking at the White House on Thursday, March 5, Trump said, “You know, we set the all-time record in history with the Dow going to 50,000,”
