LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Justin Timberlake, who was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York, on Tuesday, June 18, has reportedly decided against checking into a rehab facility.

The 43-year-old singer intends to proceed with his world tour, with his upcoming appearance set for Friday in Chicago. He has entrusted his lawyer, Edward Burke Jr, to manage the case.

Sources shared with TMZ that Timberlake has no intentions of entering a rehabilitation facility following his recent arrest. It's not uncommon for celebrities to bypass rehab plans, though seeking treatment and attending classes can often lead to more favorable plea deals.

In Timberlake's case, he appears to have opted for a different approach, possibly for valid reasons.

Timberlake has no prior arrest record and sources close to him indicate he has no history of irresponsible drinking, as per TMZ.

Individuals who have been around the singer for years attest that they have never seen him with a problem, and he typically maintains control in public settings.

Another consideration in Timberlake's strategy is his ongoing world tour, with his next performance scheduled for Friday at Chicago's United Center, on June 21 and June 22. The tour continues through the end of the year, including stops in Europe and the US, with minimal breaks.

He has upcoming shows in New York City on June 25 and June 26, with tour dates scheduled through December.

His lawyer, Edward Burke Jr, has expressed intentions to contest the arrest, which is standard practice for defense attorneys, though it's expected that Timberlake and prosecutors will negotiate a plea agreement.

Burke has also emphasized the importance of reviewing police body cam footage from the incident.

Internet calls it ‘stupid’ after Justin Timberlake continues to focus on World Tour

Upon discovering that Timberlake is prioritizing his World Tour over rehabilitation, numerous internet users have flooded the comment section, as per Facebook.

One user wrote, "I think it's worse when people with money get dui's. He has the money to call an uber, he has the money to have a private driver, he has the money to get someone to come out and drive his car and him home. He is a grown man, not a 20 yr old making stupid mistakes. Do better."

Another user wrote, "That is so stupid. it isn't like there have been all kinds of incidences and quite frankly there seems to be something really suspicious about his arrest all around ... I bet that town has a ton of rich, stupid people that do it all the time and the police do nothing about them ... JT doesn't need rehab .. the police in that town need to be investigated."

A user wrote, "Somebody said put him in a conservatorship." While one user added, "He’s just giving not good accountability vibes," another stated, "The arrogance of this man."
