WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump shared a heartwarming moment with his granddaughter, Kai Trump, during a recent round of golf, as the two rode together in a golf cart, both suited up for the course, with the Republican leader sporting his iconic red MAGA hat.

During their outing, Kai took Trump by surprise when she asked him, "Is there a dream that you’re still trying to chase? Or have you reached all your dreams?" The 79-year-old commander-in-chief went on to open up about his aim of being an even better leader.

Trump jokes Kai is asking questions like he's on TV

Kai Trump, 18, who is no stranger to showing off her bond with her grandfather, President Donald Trump, recently shared a long, vlog-style video on her YouTube channel, @kaitrump, capturing a day spent with her grandfather.

The hour-long video, titled “Playing Golf with President Donald Trump (My Grandpa),” begins with Kai and Trump riding a golf cart while talking directly to the camera. While the entire video focuses on their time together, it was one particular question from Kai that grabbed attention.

Trump, who was out for a round of golf, responded playfully, “You’re asking questions like you’re a television company. I thought I was just going to come out and play a round of golf with you.” When Kai pressed on, saying she just wanted to know, he repeated, “You’re asking questions like I’m on television.”

Later, he encouraged her, saying, “Yeah, no, look, you become president. That’s the dream, right?” Kai agreed, “Yeah.” The POTUS added, “Now what you can do is that you can dream of becoming a great president.” Kai replied, “Right. I think you’re doing a pretty good job.”

As they continued riding the golf cart, several people on the course called out greetings like, “Hey, how are you?” Trump waved and replied cheerfully, “Thank you, everybody,” before joking, “Your taxes are coming down.”

Kai smiled at his witty remark but stayed quiet. Trump then turned to her and said, “Everyone’s happy, honey.” Kai replied, “That’s awesome.” With a smile, Trump added, “We’ve done a good job.”

Kai Trump takes viewers along for a fun-filled golf outing with her grandpa

At the start of her vlog, Kai Trump shared a voiceover and some snippets of Donald Trump, saying, "This is my grandpa. Most people know him as Donald Trump, the 45th and 47th president of the United States. Others know him as a businessman or a politician, which means he's just my grandpa. We've been playing golf together for years. It's something he's always loved, and it's become a way for us to spend time together."

She added, "Over the years, I've learned a lot from being on the course of them, not just about golf, but about life. Today, I wanted to bring you along for a round just us playing the game. We both love. Join us on the course for this 101 live. This is a really special video, and I hope you guys enjoy."

The video then shifts to them sitting in a golf cart, to which Trump says, "Hello, everybody! We're gonna have a little fun today. We have Kai. Done terrifically at golf. She's a really good player."

In the video caption, she wrote, "I had an amazing time filming with my Grandpa to kick off my new series called '1 on 1 with Kai'. In the video, everyone gets to see the bond we have, especially on the golf course. This is my favorite video I have filmed so far and it holds a lot of meaning to me. I hope you enjoy this very special video."
