WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump's eldest granddaughter, Kai Trump, took to her social media platform to share a vlog about her daily life on January 30, 2025, with the caption 'This is what my life is really like' - and despite its positive tone, it sounded pretty debilitating.

The 17-year-old also attended her grandfather's inauguration and the indoor parade in Washington, which opened the eyes of viewers to the new Trump family members and new details about the characters they already knew.

Kai Trump provides an insight into her day-to-day activities

Donald Trump Jr and his ex-wife Vanessa's teenage daughter came to prominence in July 2024 when she spoke at the Republican National Convention in favor of her grandfather.

The 17-year-old avid golfer and social media influencer is shown in the YouTube video taking out Starbucks coffee before heading to the gym.

Following the gym, Kai is shown to visit her best friend Emma's house, where her mother says she is teaching Kai how to cook. Kai adds that Emma's mother "feeds [her] pretty much every single day."

Although it's great that she has supportive individuals in her life, it raises the question among fans of whether someone from her family shouldn't be teaching her these skills at the age of 17 and providing for her.

Earlier, Kai is shown running some errands at CVS/Pharmacy, buying Nutella and mints, to later gift wrap them for her friend Emma. She is later shown to have dinner with Emma before heading to some fro-yo as a sweet reward.

This vlog differs significantly from her previous ones in that it doesn't feature any other Trump from her family, which contrasts with her latest inauguration vlog.

Although spending time away from family is somewhat common for teenagers, Kai's separation from the Trumps raises questions about whether or not she actually has a close relationship with that branch of the family, per The List.

Kai admitted she is 'looking forward' to being more involved in grandfather Trump's second term

Kai has emerged as a significant member of the Trump family in the months following her July 2024 appearance at the Republican National Convention, frequently joining her grandfather at several of his public events.

With Trump's inauguration on January 20 marking the official start of his second term, Kai has expressed her belief that her life will change as she continues to juggle her studies and her wish to support her grandfather in the White House.

Kai has already committed to play for the University of Miami, where she will serve on the team, per Beaumont Enterprise. Over the years, she has frequently stated her commitment to playing in college, even on her NCSA page.

Meanwhile, Kai, however, intends to spend as much time as possible helping her grandfather in the White House. In another YouTube video, she expressed her belief that Trump's leadership will be the "best four years America has ever had."

In a YouTube video titled 'My life is about to change forever,' Kai stated that she has been "looking forward" to playing a bigger role in her grandfather's second term. She then offered to give her viewers an inside look at the White House at the inauguration.
