SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA: Doug Emhoff, husband of former Vice President Kamala Harris, was spotted attending the “No Kings” protests in Santa Monica, California, on Saturday, October 18.

Emhoff shared a photo from the event with his son on X (formerly Twitter). The protest is a nationwide movement by leftists against the Trump administration.

In a post on X, Doug Emhoff shared a photo of himself and his son, Cole Emhoff, at the “No Kings” protest. “No Kings Santa Monica,” Emhoff wrote in his post. In another post, Emhoff was seen holding a pink sign with the words, “If Kamala Had Won We’d Be At Brunch! No Kings.”

Emhoff’s post comes amid the ongoing “No Kings” protests being held across the US, including in Washington, DC, and New York City.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) also posted photos of himself taking part in the protest in New York City. “Today as millions of Americans rally across this country for No Kings Day: I proudly marched side-by-side with labor unions and so many more of our fellow citizens in NYC,” Schumer wrote in a post on X.

Mike Johnson slams leftists’ ‘hate America rally’ amid ongoing protests

The first wave of the protest, held in June, was organized against President Donald Trump’s parade marking the 25th anniversary of the US Army, during which demonstrators stayed away from Washington, DC.

However, this time, many protesters showed up on the National Mall dressed in brightly colored costumes. During a press conference on October 10, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said that leftists would be engaging in the “hate America rally” over the weekend, referring to the protests.

He said Americans could expect to see “the Marxists, the socialists, the Antifa advocates, the anarchists, and the pro-Hamas wing of the far-left Democrat Party,” whom he collectively described as “the modern Democratic Party.”

“That’s where they’ve gone, and the hate America rally is the common theme among all those groups. Listen to the language they use themselves. Many of them don’t like living in America. They hate capitalism. They hate our free enterprise system.

They hate our principles. They hate the ideas that we come in to work every day to fight for, to preserve the greatest nation in the history of the world,” he added.
