WASHINGTON, DC: White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt declared that the Iranian military has been significantly weakened following targeted US operations, stating the regime is no longer as powerful as it was just over a week ago.

In an interview, Leavitt praised President Donald Trump for his "courage" in taking direct military action, marking him as the first leader in nearly fifty years to decisively confront the Iranian threat.

During her appearance on Fox News this Sunday, March 8, Leavitt spoke highly of President Trump’s leadership during the ongoing military operations. She told Fox News that the president's bold choices have set him apart from every other leader in recent American history.

"And President Trump is the first president in nearly five decades to actually have the courage to do this, and he should be commended for it," Leavitt said.

She argued that these steps were vital for global safety and for protecting American troops stationed in the Middle East.

Leavitt explained that the mission was about more than just a short-term fight, saying it was about creating lasting peace.

She said the president’s actions were "necessary, not just to protect the American people and our assets, troops, and bases in the region, but also to ensure a truly safe and prosperous Middle East for the rest of the world."

Karoline Leavitt declares Iranian navy wiped out and ineffective

Leavitt also gave a report on how much damage the Iranian military has taken over the last week. She noted that while Iran still talks tough, it no longer has the strength to back up its words.

"The Iranians are making a lot of threats with their words, but if you look at their actions with respect to their military, they're not as stronger powerful as they were nine days ago. That is for sure," she stated.

Furthermore, Leavitt also claimed that the Iranian fleet has been essentially destroyed during the conflict.

"We have completely wiped out their Navy. Their Navy is now deemed combat ineffective," she declared. This loss of naval power is seen by the White House as a major win that prevents the regime from controlling important waters in the region.

Karoline Leavitt says Iran missile strikes down 90%

Another key point Leavitt made was about Iran's ballistic missiles. She said that the number of missiles being fired at US forces has dropped significantly since the start of the operation.

"Their retaliatory strikes with ballistic missiles has decreased 90%, and as their attacks are decreasing, the power and prowess of the US military is increasing," she stated.

She further added that the US would "continue to completely obliterate the Rogue Iranian regime and ensure that they can never present a nuclear weapon."

While concluding her stance, Leavitt also pointed out that Iran has started targeting nearby countries that had tried to stay out of the fight.

She said this shows why the US had to step in. "The mere fact that Iran is now pointing their capabilities at their golf partners in the region, who have tried to remain neutral and at peace with them for many years, they're targeting civilians," she noted.
