WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump’s health has been a major topic of discussion this year. From speculation about a blue patch on his hand to reports of leg swelling, questions have continued to circulate.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed the matter on Wednesday, November 12, stating that President Trump “remains in exceptional physical health.” She clarified that the president underwent an MRI scan in October as part of his routine physical examination.
Leavitt’s response came after reporters asked why the president had received an MRI during his checkup.

During the press briefing, Karoline Leavitt addressed the president's health. “As stated in the memo provided on October 10, President Trump received advanced imaging at Walter Reed Medical Center as part of his routine physical examination,” Leavitt said.
“The full results were reviewed by attending radiologists and consultants, and all agreed that President Trump remains in exceptional physical health,” Leavitt confirmed. She stated that the president underwent an MRI during his October visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland.
She added that Trump was scheduled to attend a dinner later that evening, which would be open to the press. “I know all of you will see with your own eyes later this evening when he opens up his dinner to the press,” Leavitt said.
“Perhaps you’ll also see him when he signs the bill to reopen the federal government. so stay tuned for that," the White House Press Secretary concluded.

Concerns about the president's health first surfaced in mid-2025, after he was seen with swollen legs during the FIFA Club World Cup final in New Jersey. Later, in another event, Trump was photographed with bruises on his hands.

To put the rumors to rest, Trump spoke directly about his health in October. “I got an MRI, it was perfect,” he told reporters aboard Air Force One. “I gave you the full results,” he added. “We had an MRI, and the machine, you know, the whole thing, and it was perfect.”
