Kash Patel thrashes Tim Walz over viral tweet on Minnesota fraud raids: ‘Come again?’
WASHINGTON, DC: FBI Director Kash Patel has blasted Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for a tweet that has been viewed millions of times, taking credit for federal fraud raids in Minneapolis.
Taking to X, Patel wrote, “Come again? This FBI and DOJ, with our DHS partners, drafted and executed every search warrant today. But go ahead and take credit for our work while we smoke out the fraud plaguing Minnesota under your governorship.”

Tim Walz claims to work towards ending 'irregular behavior'
The government official replied soon after Walz, in a three-part post, had said that “today’s raids by state and federal law enforcement happened because our state agencies caught irregular behavior and reported it.”
If you commit fraud in Minnesota you’re going to get caught — and that’s exactly what we saw today. We catch criminals when state and federal agencies share information. Joint investigations work, and securing justice depends on it.

He even stated that his agencies won’t stop until every fraudster is sent to jail.
In another social media post, the politician shared, “If you commit fraud in Minnesota, you’re going to get caught — and that’s exactly what we saw today. We catch criminals when state and federal agencies share information. Joint investigations work, and securing justice depends on it.”
Today’s raids by state and federal law enforcement happened because our state agencies caught irregular behavior and reported it. That’s how the system is supposed to work, and our agencies will keep at it as long as there are fraudsters around to put behind bars.

Tim Walz asks for probe into deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti
Ending his posting spree, Walz, in his last share, mentioned the killing of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were killed by the federal agents during ICE raids.
“Now let’s work on a joint investigation into the killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good — instead of cherry picking when we seek justice and when we turn a blind eye,” he added.

Critics call Tim Walz ' the most dishonest, corrupt politician ever'
However, along with Patel, many other conservatives slammed Walz while pointing out that the massive fraud scandal happened under his government.
“You are the most dishonest, corrupt politician ever. You did nothing to stop this theft of the taxpayers' money. You didn’t want this to be discovered because you are profiting from it. If there is an ounce of fairness in this world, you will be arrested, prosecuted, and imprisoned for your crimes,” one critic shared.

Another critic said, “You are a real piece of work you take credit for something you had nothing to do with . You are a very sick man and you knew all about the fraud for years.”

Republican operative and Trump 2020 communications director Tim Murtaugh posted, “The main problem Tim Walz has now is that no one - Republican or Democrat - takes him seriously. He’s proven that he’s that much of a boob.”
“The same guy who spent a whole hearing dodging questions about $9 BILLION in fraud in Minnesota and talking about ICE instead is now praising fraud control. Tomorrow, we will pass legislation in the Committee to make sure it never happens again. Sit this one out, Tim,” the Republican-led House Oversight Committee added.

FBI urges 'public to remain vigilant and report anything they consider suspicious'
This came as on Tuesday, April 28, over 20 locations were raided by the federal agents as part of probes into fraud in the social-welfare program.
In a Facebook statement, the FBI Minneapolis said, “This morning, FBI Minneapolis, with support from federal, state, and local law enforcement partners, conducted court-authorized law enforcement activity as part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation.”
“We encourage members of the public to remain vigilant and report anything they consider suspicious to law enforcement immediately, call their local FBI office, or submit information to tips.fbi.gov. The FBI values our partnerships with law enforcement and the public to prevent, detect, and deter crime,” it added.
