Commenters flooded the post with theories. Some poked fun, suggesting he looked like he had “27 monster energy drinks before the meeting” or was giving “I have to give a book report and I haven’t read the book” face. I know it well.”

Others, however, defended Patel, pointing out that certain eye shapes are inherited traits, and mocking physical features is unfair, saying, “Conditions like hyperthyroidism or certain congenital and structural traits can make the eyes appear more prominent. He’s always looked this way, his eye shape is part of his inherited physical traits, not something he chose. Maybe stop mocking people for features they were born with and can’t change.”

One social media user joked, “He's using contact lens cameras to record the audience IYKYK.” Another added, “Pirro looked at Patel like are you high or what.”

“He saw the Epstein Files, now he doesn't trust anyone in the Trump Administration either,” one penned.

“Someone’s been in the evidence room….” another posted.

“He always looks like that. He some obvious eye issues,” the other user remarked.

Another zeroed in on Patel's expressions and asked, “Why does Kash Patel look like a terrified wax figure.”

FBI Director Kash Patel has publicly thrown his support behind President Donald Trump’s controversial plan to take control of Washington, DC’s Metropolitan Police Department.

On Monday night, August 11, Patel was spotted at a police command post, marking his active involvement in the first night of the temporary takeover.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Patel praised the officers tasked with securing the nation’s capital under the new arrangement.

“Proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with the men and women who keep our nation’s capital safe,” he said. “When you let good cops be cops, give them the tools they need, and back them every step of the way, they deliver — every time.”

On Monday, Trump announced plans to place the city’s police department under federal control, transferring authority to Attorney General Pam Bondi as part of his push to tackle crime.

He also revealed that about 800 National Guard troops would be deployed to “reestablish law, order, and public safety” in the nation’s capital.
