WASHINGTON, DC: Kathryn Adams Limbaugh became emotional while reflecting on the hearing in the Charlie Kirk assassination case, revealing what it was like to sit beside Kirk's grieving family as prosecutors replayed the events surrounding his killing.
Speaking on Fox News on Saturday, July 11, after attending the proceedings, she also shared the deep connection Rush Limbaugh had with the conservative activist long before his death.

Kathryn Limbaugh says 'Charlie loved Rush'
Appearing on 'Saturday in America' with Kayleigh McEnany, Kathryn Limbaugh said the courtroom experience was heartbreaking, especially while sitting next to Charlie Kirk's mother, Kathy Kirk.
She explained that Kirk had admired Rush Limbaugh from childhood and had grown up listening to his nationally syndicated radio program on the way to school.
"Rush absolutely loved Charlie. Charlie grew up listening to Rush. Kathy told me she remembered driving him to school with Rush on the radio every morning," she said.
According to Kathryn, the admiration went both ways.
She said Rush viewed Kirk as one of the brightest young conservative voices in America and believed he would help carry the movement into the next generation.
"Rush thought Charlie represented the younger generation. He believed Charlie would continue leading the conservative movement and become a household name. That's exactly what happened," Kathryn Limbaugh added.
Kathryn Limbaugh said Charlie Kirk's relationship with Rush stretched back years before the two became prominent figures in conservative politics.
What began with a young student listening to Rush's radio broadcasts on the drive to school eventually evolved into a friendship built around shared beliefs on free speech, American politics, and conservative values.

Kirks relive tragedy in courtroom
On Friday, prosecutors played an enhanced surveillance video that they say captured the moments surrounding Kirk's fatal shooting at Utah Valley University.
The edited footage allegedly showed a person moving across a campus rooftop before lying in a prone position.
Moments later, after the fatal gunshot, the same individual appeared to run across the roof before leaving the area.
As the video played, the emotional toll inside the courtroom became immediately visible.
Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, and his mother, Kathy Kirk, were seen comforting one another while other family members struggled to hold back tears.
Kathy Kirk later leaned into her husband, Robert Kirk, wiping away tears as relatives gathered around to support one another.
At one point, an investigator sitting near the family reportedly brought over a trash can as tissues continued to pile up during the emotional presentation.
