WASHINGTON, D.C.: Political advisor and podcast host, Katie Miller claimed that President Trump and the Secretary of State Marco Rubio are working diligently to revoke the visas of “nearly 3,000 to 4,000 Iranians” living in the US with “safety and prosperity.”

Earlier, Secretary Marco Rubio suspended the residential permits of the relatives of slain Iranian General Qasem Soleimani.

Katie Miller calls out Trump admin over 'double standard'

Appearing on the Fox News, Miller called out the Iranians in the US who support the Iranian government during the war between Washington and Tehran.

“There’s a double standard! Not only in their wardrobe, but the fact they get to live here in the greatest country in the world, with safety and prosperity.”

Miller reiterated that she knows the Trump administration was suspending visas for Iranian nationals.

Referring to the lavish lives of Khamenei’s nephew and Rouhani’s niece, Miller further asked, “ Why are so many elites of the Iranian regime being given safety not only in America but in European countries for so long?”

Rubio revokes green card, visas of Iranian nationals

Miller's statement comes on the heels of the US revoking green cards and visas of Iranian nationals tied to the government in the Middle Eastern country.

In its latest action, the Trump administration revoked the green cards or visas of at least four Iranian nationals associated with the current or former government in Tehran.

Secretary Rubio said that they were no longer eligible for permanent resident status or to enter the United States.

ICE detained Soleimani’s niece after green cards suspension

Last week, the Trump administration suspended the legal status of slain Major General Qasem Soleimani's niece, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar, and her daughter due to their support for the Iranian regime during the ongoing war.

They were detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials for deportation after Secretary of State Marco Rubio revoked their permanent resident permits. They lived in Los Angeles.

The duo was arrested on Friday, April 3, after their legal status was revoked earlier in the week. Their arrest was announced on Saturday, April 4.

Afshar’s residency permit was revoked for supporting the Iranian regime, and she has allegedly been cheering for Tehran during the ongoing war while living a “lavish life” in Los Angeles.

Afshar denounced US as ‘Great Satan’: Rubio

Posting on X, Rubio wrote about Afshar’s connection to Soleimani and accused her of celebrating attacks on America. “Afshar is the niece of the late Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani.”

"She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the Great Satan,” Rubio continued in his X post.

"This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status, and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States."
