TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA: Former United States Representative and California gubernatorial candidate, Katie Porter, has ignited backlash after an email showing that she cursed President Donald Trump four times went viral.

The email was written to donors just a day after the reported assassination attempt against Trump during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton on Saturday, April 25.

Katie Porter ignites controversy with remark on Trump

Porter cursed Trump, writing, F**k Trump four times in an email, including the subject line. The email marks the latest controversy from Porter’s campaign.

She has earlier been criticized for shouting and using profane language toward a staffer on camera, and for nearly walking out of an interview with a journalist. The incidents have raised concerns among voters about her candidacy.

Republican National Committee spokesman Nick Poche said that her conduct proves her unfit for the state run.

"Katie Porter is a degenerate loser who is sick in the head, and it's telling that failing Democrat candidates think their path to victory is to fan the flames of violence right after an assassination attempt," Poche said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "The Democrat Party has completely lost its mind, and anyone who refuses to condemn Porter's remarks is just as responsible for the rise in left-wing political violence as Porter is."

Katie Porter assures to throw Trump out in the midterms

While the email was sent a day after the White House Dinner shooting, it was not mentioned in the email.

"Today, I wanna start with one simple, powerful message we all agree on," the email stated. : Say it with me. Ready, 1 … 2 … 3 … F**k Trump."

"Yeah, that’s right, F**k Trump," the email continued. "Together, we’re going to kick Trump’s a** in November and stop him in his tracks."

The email was shared with the outlet by a writer and influencer, Bethany Mandel.

Resharing the email content, Mandel questioned Porter’s insensitivity and speculated what could have been the situation if Barack Obama had survived the assassination and a Republican had sent this type of email.

"Imagine Barack Obama surviving three assassination attempts and 18 hours later, a Republican sent a fundraising email like this," Mandel said.

White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting

The dinner hall was rocked with the sound of gunshots soon after Trump joined other guests for the annual correspondents’ dinner at the Washington Hilton building. A 31-year-old teacher, Cole Allen, stormed the security checkpoint, engaging in a firefight with security personnel, hitting one of the service agents with a bullet.

Later during the press briefing, Trump confirmed that the wounded serviceman was in great shape as the bulletproof vest had done its job.
