WASHINGTON, DC: Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy revealed a baffling experience he had with President Joe Biden during one of their private meetings.

In an interview with Fox host Jesse Watters on Wednesday, June 12, the Republican said that Biden gave him a tour of the swimming pool and changing room in the middle of winter, according to Mediaite.

The surprising revelation occurred when Watters inquired about the former speaker's impressions of the octogenarian from their private meetings at the White House. McCarthy recalled instances where he would interject with Biden while the president read from his cards.

According to McCarthy, Biden typically stumbled following these interruptions, prompting Vice President Kamala Harris to step in and continue speaking.

"There was one time we were sitting there, and he's taking us on a tour, then all of a sudden he goes, 'You wanna go out to the pool?'" McCarthy recounted a moment from a private negotiation with Biden.

The ousted Speaker claimed that First Lady Jill Biden, who was on the other side of the table, tried to stop the President, saying they did not want to go out, but Biden opened the door and walked down to the swimming pool and then to the changing room in winter.

Watters responded to the incident with an amused "What?!"

"Then we walk back up, and he's created this little room outside the Oval Office to be a little office for him. Now, President Trump had it as a gift shop. Clinton used it for something else. But he's made it a little office for himself like ten feet away from the Oval Office," McCarthy continued.

The former Speaker also disclosed that there was a small desk, a valet, and a wrinkled blue shirt in the room. The blue shirt apparently confused McCarthy, who wondered, "When does the President take his shirt off in there?"

"And then we come walking back, and I'm thinking, 'Oh my gosh, please don't show this to any other world leader,'" he added.

Watters also asked what Biden had said to McCarthy in the dressing room. The former House Speaker recalled that initially, the door was locked, and it was the Secret Service who eventually opened it.

"I'm like, what are we doing?" McCarthy joked about the incident, to which Watters mockingly indicated the plan might have been to take a dip and do some laps in the pool.

Internet slams Kevin McCarthy

Netizens accused McCarthy of "lying" about Biden giving him a tour of the swimming pool and the dressing room in the White House in the middle of the winter.

One user said, "Kevin you are a compulsive liar. You make no sense." Another remarked, "The only person whose stability is called into question by this yarn is McCarthy’s. He’s had such a hard time dealing with reality ever since getting booted by his own party."

A user added, "Why is he telling this story and why now? Is this strategic? I can't believe he's allowed to speak 'out of turn.'"

"Whenever a conservative opens their mouth lies fall out," read a response.

"The thing that comes through is the president being nice to him. A terrible guest and an even worse person," a user commented below Mediaite's article.

Someone else wrote, "The human frat paddle, Watters and the disgraced sore loser Kevin, taking on the real tough issues of the times. Swimming pool tours. Most decent human beings are actually graceful when they're a guest at someone's home."

Another comment read, "Poor McCarthy, still grasping for relevance." Meanwhile, an individual said, "McCarthy is trying to badmouth Biden so that Trump notices him again. It's pathetic."
