Kim Kardashian reveals she ‘makes up stories’ so her children think dad Kanye West is ‘greatest’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian has shared a rare reflection on her co-parenting relationship with her former husband, Kanye West.
The SKIMS co-founder and the rapper share four children, North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, together.
Kim recently disclosed new details about her personal life, including her ex and her children, in Jonathan Van Meter’s biography ‘Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future,’ as reported by PEOPLE.
Kim Kardashian reveals she invites Kanye West to spend time with their children
During the interview, the 46-year-old shared that she often takes help from West’s current wife, Bianca Censori, or his friend who also works as his manager, to communicate with him.

“It is challenging co-parenting with someone who comes by every few months, but I’m always like, ‘Oh, Dad’s traveling.’ I still make up stories and protect [the kids] because I want them to think their dad is the greatest,” Kim explained.
The reality star, however, stated that she “invite[s] him over all the time.” Kim also shared that she asks Kanye, “‘Do you want to come to dinner? I’ll leave the house. Come and have dinner with the kids in their house so that they can feel comfy. Sleep over for a few nights?’”
Kim Kardashian says she wants her children to see their ‘father’
The media personality further divulged that she is ready to forget her troubled past with West for the sake of their children.
“I will sweep everything under the rug, all the horrible things he has said about me, so that the kids can see their father,” she added.
Another point that Kim mentioned in the book is that she is always concerned about the 49-year-old record producer’s well-being, describing it as a “big burden.”
She explained, “Oh, I worry about him all day. That’s the father of my kids. I’ll never not worry about him. And that’s a big burden of having kids with someone who you don’t necessarily get along with. My kids would never know that.”

“I do everything in my power to forget about all the negative things that happened. I have to be realistic, and my therapist definitely tells me, ‘Your boundaries have to go up,’ but we manage to co-parent without too much conflict,” the ‘KUWTK’ star said.
Kim Kardashian encourages her kids to have a good relationship with Kanye West
Though Kim and West’s relationship is strained, she claimed that things have been “pretty smooth” for some time.

“When we see each other, we give each other a hug. I’m really close with his family. I welcome anyone. I tell them all, open-door policy. Anytime you’re in town, come for dinner with us, see the kids as much as you want, take them out, come over and hang out. That's their family. I encourage the relationship with their dad so much,” she noted.
