Kris Jenner opens up about pregnancy, work, and being a ‘supermomager’

During an appearance on the Mother’s Day episode of the ‘SHE MD’ podcast, Jenner reflected on motherhood while discussing the experience of raising her six children. She described the “juggling act” of becoming a mother after giving birth to Kim and then quickly watching her family grow with the arrival of Rob and Khloe.

While Jenner said most of her pregnancies were “easy,” she admitted that her pregnancy with Kylie Jenner was more difficult. “The last one [pregnancy] I had gestational diabetes. Kylie gave me a run for my money. But, I was 41,” Jenner shared.

She also discussed balancing motherhood and work after her divorce, explaining that returning to the workforce made her feel “really strong and responsible” and gave her confidence. Jenner said she often tells her children, “I was a Kardashian before you were a Kardashian,” while reflecting on how excited she was to begin working while raising four children on her own.

Jenner further spoke about the close relationship she shares with her children and how she balances being both a mother and manager to them. “There’s no line. There’s not a lot of boundaries, and in the best way,” she explained, adding that she believes her purpose is to always be there for her children.

She further said, “I did not have six children and raise these kids so that when they were 18 years old, I led them to the front door and said, ‘Bye. See ya!’ No! These are now my people. This is my life.”
