NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: During an appearance on Steve Bannon's 'War Room' show, aired by Real America's Voice, Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump and the co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) announced this week that the RNC is aiming to enlist more lawyers in preparation for the 2024 presidential election.

On the show, Lara Trump discussed the Republican strategy for the upcoming November election, highlighting the various elements of the recently launched "election integrity division."

Lara Trump calls for volunteers to join RNC's new 'election integrity team'

"We need everybody to get out and vote, we need everybody to join our election integrity team, that's something new at the RNC, first time ever we have an election integrity team. The chairman Michael Whatley and I have promised 100,000 people, volunteering on our team to make sure that this is a free, fair and transparent election. If anybody in the audience wants to join it's protectthevote.com," she said as per Media Matters report.

"If you are an attorney, we want you because we want attorneys in every major polling location across this country...we're not reactive, we're proactive. Whenever we see an issue we can immediately strike and we are not waiting days or weeks on end," she added.

In April, the RNC revealed its plan to establish an election integrity division, following persistent claims by Donald Trump that the 2020 election was stolen.

Currently, Trump is facing a federal indictment from Special Counsel Jack Smith over allegations of attempting to overturn the 2020 election results but the former POTUS denies any wrongdoing.

RNC announces historic election integrity program with Donald Trump's support

In a statement made in April, the RNC said, "In a historic move to safeguard the integrity of the electoral process, the Trump Campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) announce the launch of the most extensive and monumental election integrity program in the nation's history."

"About the launch, President Trump said, 'Having the right people to count the ballots is just as important as turning out voters on Election Day. Republicans are now working together to protect the vote and ensure a big win on November 5th!'"

The statement further read, "About the launch, President Trump said, 'Having the right people to count the ballots is just as important as turning out voters on Election Day. Republicans are now working together to protect the vote and ensure a big win on November 5th!'"

On the other hand, Lara Trump said in the statement, "The RNC is hiring hundreds of election integrity staff across the map, more than ever before because our Party will be recruiting thousands of more observers to protect the vote in 2024. These campaign officials in states are tasked with recruiting, training, and when possible, shifting poll watchers and poll workers day in and day out."

As per AP News, in May of this year, she said, "My No. 1 goal is making sure that Donald Trump is the 47th president"- a move that further solidifies Trump's influence over the party.

Lara Trump has quickly rebranded the RNC with a combative style, firing longtime staffers and aligning with election deniers and alt-right figures as well as vowing four years of "scorched earth" political retribution if Trump wins the election.

Internet mocks Lara Trump's call for volunteers and lawyers

Lara Trump's attempt at conveying that the RNC is seeking to recruit more volunteers and lawyers ahead of the 2024 presidential election was met with hilarious jabs from viewers.

A particular viewer expressed, "Good luck finding one that isn't disbarred or in jail."

Following suit, another observer added, "The RNC should focus on it’s own integrity first, before getting their shorts in a bunch over dubiously alleged election integrity problems."

Additionally, a viewer pointed out, "Good luck in finding gullible lawyers that think the Trump family will actually pay them...."

A follower contributed, "Since most of the 34 Times Convicted Felon's former lawyers are either indicted, disbarred, or imprisoned of course the tRumpRNC needs more! Step right up folks."

A comment underscored, "This is what REAL election rigging looks like culties."

Another comment echoed, "Integrity and GOP do not belong in the same sentence. They have absolutely none."

An individual elaborated further, saying, "Sounds like they're prepping for another coup attempt and need new lawyers since the last ones are mostly under indictment or barred from practicing law."
