Lara Trump slammed for claiming Kamala Harris lost because of 'constant mudslinging' against Donald Trump
WASHINGTON, DC: Lara Trump was called out for accusing Kamala Harris of "constant mudslinging" during the 2024 election campaign while ignoring her father-in-law Donald Trump's insults aimed at the Democratic nominee.
During her Sunday, November 11 appearance on Fox News' 'MediaBuzz', the co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) asserted that the Democrats' only focus was on insulting the President-elect throughout the campaign, as per The Independent.
She remarked, "I think it said all along she didn’t really have a plan. She didn’t have a single policy point that she could direct the American people to and say this is why you should vote for me."

Lara Trump attacks Democrat 'mudslinging' while dismissing Donald Trump's insults
Lara Trump further said, "If you’re running for president of the United States you better tell them how you’re going to make their life better, not just continually attack the opposition."
She argued, "I think when they got to the point of constant mudslinging and not really talking about what they do for the American people, I think that’s what lost them the election."
At this point, she was interrupted by Fox News anchor Howard Kurtz, who reminded her how Trump continuously insulted Harris during his rallies.
He said, "But couldn‘t Democrats say the same? During the campaign, Trump called the vice president dumb, cursed her at one point, and questioned her racial identity," to which, Lara replied, "This is who he’s always been."
She went on to defend her father-in-law's actions, saying, "I think whenever you see Donald Trump say things like this, this is not out of character for him. This is who he’s always been."
Continuing her attack on Harris, the former television producer told the host, "I think it is pretty dumb, Howie, to leave the border wide open and allow 20 million to pour into our country illegally, pretty dumb to shut down the Keystone XL pipeline."
"I think there are a lot of dumb things that happened during the course of this administration, and I think a lot of Americans agreed with Donald Trump’s assessment of exactly that," remarked Lara.
When Kurtz pointed out, "Well, it’s one thing to say that the policies are dumb versus saying somebody–," he was interrupted by Lara, who said, "You’ve got to question someone’s intelligence if they’re doing these things, quite frankly."
Internet slams Lara Trump for justifying Donald Trump's toxic behavior
Lara Trump's defense of Donald Trump and her argument on why Kamala Harris didn't win the election didn't sit well with the netizens.
One wrote, "Lara Trump claims, you can't label Trump's constantly calling Harris/Walz stupid and dumb throughout the campaign, mudslinging, because that's how he's always been.🤔. Is this where we are now? literally justifying toxic behavior because that's how he's always been? Got it🙄."
A person said, "Haha but it’s okay because he’s always done it," and another added, "

A YouTube user remarked, "Oh, It's OK for Trump to say nasty things because that's just how he is, but nice people can't tell the truth about him. 🤦♀️"
One more expressed, "Trump never answered a question atall in eight years," and another person added, "She goes home to her multi million dollar lifestyle with not a care in the world while senior citizens and young Americans are going to suffer."
"What the hell is she talking about. Harris had plan that’s the reason why I voted for her. Trump DID NOT HAVE A PLAN," commented a person. President-elect Trump said that he has "concepts of a plan" for healthcare during his debate against Harris.
"The way they talk about other people is repulsive," stated an individual. One noted, "Projecting much, Lara Trump! #ALWAYStheVICTIM."
