NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Laura Ingraham took a jab at Democrats and claimed that they are trying to "resurrect" the Jeffrey Epstein case to hurt President Donald Trump.

Interestingly, she had expressed dissatisfaction with the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files around two weeks ago.

Laura Ingraham claims Democrats are trying to 'resurrect' Epstein case

During 'The Ingraham Angle' on Friday, July 25, Laura Ingraham claimed the Democrats were trying to "resurrect" the Epstein case to hurt President Trump.

Moreover, she suggested that the Epstein narrative was the Democrats response to wild allegations from the Trump administration about former President Barack Obama.

She said, "It really is quite something for the Democrats to now try to resurrect Epstein when we find out that the core of their identity for 10 years has been that Trump is illegitimate as a politician and a president because of the Russia story."

"The core of their identity, it’s all exposed," Ingraham claimed. Interestingly, Ingraham teased a Wall Street Journal report about Trump’s relationship with Epstein last week on her show.

She told her viewers back then, "[W]e have new news coming on about this as well from The Wall Street Journal, a new report tonight next."

Two weeks ago, Ingraham spoke to a crowd of conservatives in Florida and expressed dissatisfaction at the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files.

Just days after the Department of Justice concluded that the disgraced financier did not have a client list and would not be releasing the long-promised files, she asked the crowd, "How many of you are satisfied – you can clap – satisfied with the results of the Epstein investigation?"

Notably, no one in the audience clapped, and she asked again, "How many of you are not satisfied with the results of the investigation?", to which the audience applauded loudly.

Meanwhile, Trump has largely avoided questions about Epstein and even ripped his own supporters for demanding more information.

Internet trolls Laura Ingraham

Several internet users trolled Laura Ingraham as she took a jab at Democrats and claimed they were trying to "resurrect" the Jeffrey Epstein case to hurt Donald Trump, two weeks after she had expressed dissatisfaction at the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files.

An online comment read, "She knows the dumb viewers will follow orders," while one added, "Laura Ingraham: "Show us the Epstein List!, Donald Trump" Also, Laura Ingraham: "This is a Democrat hoax". Can't she get her lies straight?"

A person also stated, "Laura Ingraham, week one: 'Why is there a coverup, release the Epstein List'...meets with Fox News Directors...Laura Ingraham, next week: 'There is no Epstein List, it's all a Democrat hoax.'"

A user also wrote, "No one can spin that to make it try to make sense," while one commented, "She's obviously been given her script and marching orders.. The Harpy.."
