ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Far-right activist Laura Loomer blasted Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene for allegedly ditching Georgians affected by Hurricane Helene and attending a football game instead.

In an X (formerly Twitter) post, Loomer called out her fellow MAGA ally's presence at the football game as "gross negligence," claiming she was unfit to be a congresswoman.

Greene, who represents Georgia's 14th District, attended the University of Alabama vs University of Georgia football game at the Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, September 28. Former president Donald Trump was another political celebrity who watched the game from the luxury box.

Sharing a news screenshot about the catastrophic destruction the category 4 Hurricane Helene caused in Georgia and the death of 15 people due to it, Loomer attacked Greene over her priorities.

"Instead of being in Georgia to help the people of her state, @mtgreenee MTG blew them off and decided to go to the football game in Alabama yesterday instead," the conspiracy theorist claimed.

"It speaks volumes to her lack of focus as a Congresswoman and it really shows she is more interested in fan fare as opposed to helping people in her state," she added. Loomer further labeled the Georgia Republican's attendance at the football game as "gross negligence from a woman who is unfit to serve."

The Trump ally concluded the post by sending prayers to everyone affected by Hurricane Helene.

At least 17 people have died in the Peach State as a result of the deadly storm, according to Reuters.

Despite sharing the MAGA ideology, Greene and Loomer's relationship went south earlier this month after the latter attacked Vice President Kamala Harris.

Loomer, who was spotted with the former president multiple times in recent weeks raising speculations about her role in the Trump campaign, made disparaging comments about Harris' Indian heritage on X.

She said the White House would smell like curry if Harris was elected in November.

This led to a social media feud after Greene deemed the far-right activist's comments "appalling and extremely racist," reported Raw Story.

MTG slammed for watching football instead of serving hurricane-hit Georgia

In response to Laura Loomer's criticism of the Georgia representative, netizens blamed Marjorie Taylor Greene for prioritizing a football game instead of helping Georgians suffering from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

"MTG would stab every member of her family to hang out with Trump at a football game," one social media user said.

"Laura Loomer is right there is a major disaster in her state but ignoring it to go to a football game is a bad look. @SenOssoff has been on the ground handing out supplies and helping," another opined.

"She’s on vacation. She doesn’t have time for such minor things!" added one individual.

"Sounds about right, football is > life to some. Sad," read another response.

"MTG too busy enjoying a football game instead of being there for the people who elected her. She’s worthless," one person wrote.

"Yep because she's a fraud. She just uses Trump and his supporters," someone else remarked.

"I have lost all respect for and MTG! She should be in her state doing what she can instead of looking for a photo op!" an individual stated.

"Yes it does. @mtgreenee first responsibility is to her people not herself. If she cannot prioritize accordingly then she should not be in office. A generational storm has hit and all elected officials should be in 24/7 mode to alleviate the suffering and expediting the recovery," one person wrote.
