WASHINGTON, DC: President Trump's loyal supporter, Laura Loomer criticized former National Counterterrorism Center (NCC) director Joe Kent following his resignation. She called his recent interview with podcaster Tucker Carlson a “victim act,” accusing him of trying to play the 'victim card'. She said Kent knew that the truth about his investigation would come out.

In a lengthy post, Loomer tore into Kent’s behavior during the Carlson interview. She even mentioned Tulsi Gabbard, saying Gabbard chose to let Kent “keep his dignity” rather than confronting him herself.

Loomer added that Kent had “lost his mind,” pointing out that he wrongly blamed Israel for his wife’s death, even though Islamic extremists were responsible. At the same time, Kent is under FBI investigation over claims that he leaked classified information.

Loomer shared a scoop, writing that the White House told her that Kent “resigned, he got word that he was going to be under investigation for leaking classified information.”

She continued, noting that she had reported last year that Kent was caught leaking President Trump’s private schedule and meetings to Tucker Carlson. Loomer added that Kent had been warned by

“Senior White House advisors said that if he got caught leaking again, he would be fired.” Loomer criticized Kent’s recent one-hour and 40-minute interview on Carlson’s podcast, saying it is just a way to cover up his actions.

She tagged Carlson and wrote that the interview is “nothing more than a premeditated performance to play the victim card and cry retaliation, because Kent knew the truth about his investigation would come out.”

She clarified her stance, stating that the interview this week is Kent’s attempt to “clear his path and go ahead of the news breaking of him getting resignation and FBI investigation.”

Analyzing his behavior, Loomer said Kent sounds like someone who “was about to be fired and ‘resigned’ before they were fired.” She also wrote, “As I said before, everyone knows all of the IC leaks come out of @ODNIgov,” concluding her note with, “The place is swarming with cockroaches.”

Laura Loomer mocks Joe Kent and Tucker Carlson, calls them 'crackpots'

Loomer showed no restraint in criticizing both Kent and Carlson following the release of their interview. She shared short clips on her X account and mocked the pair, writing, “Oh I didn’t realize Joe Kent was President and Tucker was Vice President.”

In another post, she added, “Joe Kent is truly deranged. He is now trying to suggest the Trump administration had Charlie Kirk killed for opposing war with Iran. Notice the dig at the @FBI to try to diminish their investigation into Kent for allegedly leaking classified information.”

Loomer clarified, “Tyler Robinson murdered Charlie Kirk,” and did not hold back in calling both Kent and Carlson “crackpots.”

Meanwhile, according to a Wednesday night, March 18, report from Semafor, the FBI is investigating Kent for allegedly sharing classified information. Semafor noted that the investigation “predates Kent’s departure,” and sources said it had been in the works for months.

Just hours before that report surfaced, Kent appeared in a sit-down interview with Carlson.
