WASHINGTON, DC: Firebrand MAGA activist Laura Loomer has taken a U-turn after slamming President Donald Trump for accepting a $400 million Boeing 747 from Qatar.

On May 11, Laura Loomer came out swinging and blasted the POTUS over reports that his administration is set to accept a $400 million luxury Boeing jet from the Qatari government.

The MAGA activist further said that a talk she had with the POTUS about the jumbo jet "gift" from Qatar, which he will use as his new Air Force One before it transfers to his presidential library foundation, made things clear.

She said, "I did have a conversation with the president, and I now realize that I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions."

Despite Loomer not working for Trump officially, she has reportedly wielded influence over his administration by playing an integral role in former National Security Adviser Mike Waltz’s firing, among other administrative decisions, according to The Daily Beast.

She told Daily Mail, "I do my own thing, but I’m not turning against the president. I get along very well with him."

"I love Trump. He’s my favorite person. I fully support him. I know that he is not going to do anything that’s going to jeopardize our national security," she added.

She added that she apologized to Trump for "giving the press more ammunition to attack him. I regret any kind of division that my public criticism caused."

"The president has been very good to me. He’s been a loyal friend. I do feel a bit guilty about it," Loomer said.

Laura Loomer earlier slammed Donald Trump for accepting Qatar's jet gift

Before taking a U-turn, Laura Loomer took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "How are we supposed to ever see the US under the Trump admin designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization if the US is now going to accept a $400 million jet from Qatar to fly the US President and his staff around on?"

"This is something we were promised would happen during the first admin, but it never happened," she added.

She also slammed Qatar for allegedly funding radical groups like Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, and warned that Trump’s credibility on foreign policy is now on the line, per Mediaite.

Loomer wrote, "Both the UAE and Saudi Arabia have designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, and this week, @POTUS will be having meetings with Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Qatar funds HAMAS and the Muslim Brotherhood."

She added, "It’s going to be hard for the admin to designate the Muslim Brotherhood and obliterate Iranian proxies in Hamas and Hezbollah when Qatar funds the Muslim Brotherhood, harbors HAMAS, and the US just accepted a $400 million jet from Qatar. It’s very disappointing."
