WASHINGTON, DC: MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell didn’t hold back in his critique of Elon Musk’s unexpected power move during a press conference in the Oval Office, where he not only spoke more than Donald Trump but also brought his four-year-old son, X, into the room.

According to O’Donnell, Musk’s decision to bring X wasn’t just a personal choice, it was a statement, MSN reported.

MSNBC anchor claims Elon Musk ‘humiliated’ Donald Trump

O'Donnell described Musk's decision to bring X as a strategic move, proving he could operate on his terms. Adding to the so-called humiliation, O’Donnell pointed out that Musk disregarded the traditional dress code opting for a casual 'millionaire' look that, in contrast, made Trump seem like the least influential person in the room.

Additionally, O'Donnell noted that Musk dominated the conversation, speaking 3,666 words compared to Trump's 2,487.

During his lengthy critique of Elon Musk, O'Donnell claimed that the photo featuring Musk, his son X, and Donald Trump would go down as "the most powerless image of a US president ever captured by a camera."

One of O’Donnell’s most striking observations was about who commanded the conversation.

"When Donald Trump is your boss, you don’t talk more than Donald Trump. In a business meeting with Donald Trump, Elon Musk spoke 3,666 words. Donald Trump spoke 2,487 words. Mike Pence never had a day like that in the Oval Office with Donald Trump. JD Vance will never have a day like that in the Oval Office with Donald Trump, because Donald Trump is the boss of JD Vance," O’Donnell remarked.

The dynamic shifted even further when Musk’s son briefly interrupted him, attempting to repeat his words. O’Donnell pointed to a moment when X moved toward Trump, but instead of engaging, Trump looked away, prompting the child to back off.

"The child actually moves toward Donald Trump saying something to him and Donald Trump turns away. And you watch the child back off knowing what just happened. What would Biden have done? What would Barack Obama have done? Donald Trump turns away from a 4-year-old," O’Donnell asked, comparing the moment to Trump’s controversial blocking of humanitarian aid to starving children.

O’Donnell also suggested that Trump’s relationship with Musk is a reversal of roles, the former president, once desperate for the approval of the world’s wealthiest figures, now finds himself in a position where Musk holds the financial power to help him out of any crisis.

"One thing that Donald Trump always craved before he ran for president was the attention of the truly rich. Virtually all of them ignored Donald Trump as phoney rich and vulgar rich. And now Donald Trump has the attention of the richest person on the earth, the person who can literally bail him out of any financial difficulty," O'Donnell said.

Did Elon Musk’s son X tell Trump to ‘Shut Your Mouth’?

Elon Musk’s four-year-old son, X became the unexpected center of attention during a White House press conference on Tuesday, overshadowing both his billionaire father and President Donald Trump but it wasn’t just his presence that caught the internet’s eye, a viral clip has sparked speculation that young X may have told Trump to ‘shut your mouth.’

Musk, who was in the Oval Office for the signing of an executive order related to his role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), had brought X along for the occasion. Perched on his father’s shoulders, the child wasted no time in making his presence known.

At one point, as Musk addressed reporters about cutting federal programs, his son stuck his fingers in his father’s ears, prompting laughter in the room. “I thought my son might enjoy this,” Musk admitted. “But he’s sticking his fingers in my ears and stuff so it’s been hard to hear sometimes.” He then turned to X and playfully scolded, “Hey! Stop that.”

But the most talked-about moment came when X appeared to say something that many viewers interpreted as ‘shut your mouth.’

Meanwhile, social media exploded with theories about whether Musk’s son had really told Trump to be quiet. Clips of the moment circulated on X (formerly Twitter), with some users debating what the child said.

"Did Lil X just say, "I want you to shut your mouth?," a user said, while the other user wrote, "Elon Musk's kid, "X" looked at Trump and said, "I want you to SHUSH your mouth up!" picked his nose and wiped his bugars/snot on the resolute desk all in a span of about 30 seconds. You literally can't make this shit up."

One commenter joked, "ElonMusk’s son just told @realDonaldTrump, “I want to shush your mouth,” in the Oval Office front of reporters. Who’s the real President? Elon or #DonaldTrump?"

Another user commented, "Wow. Elon's kid tells trump to shut his mouth."

One such user lamented, "Brah OK I'm all about "calling out corruption" but Elon Musk's Son wiping his BOOGERS on the oval office desk Trump giving him the side eye and the little boy tells Trump to "shut up" it's just too much for me what the hell is happening."
