MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Former President Donald Trump, currently facing a hush money trial, has once again challenged President Joe Biden to a debate.

On Thursday, May 9, Trump asked Biden to fulfill his commitment and even choose the location of his choice, be it Washington DC or New York.

Donald Trump is ready to debate Joe Biden in Whitehouse

Taking to Truth Social, Trump wrote, “LETTER TO JOE: Dear Joe, now that you’ve committed to a debate on the now dying Howard Stern Show, no less, let’s set it up right now.”

He even said he was ready to debate anywhere and added to the post, “I’m ready to go anywhere that you are. We could do it in DC., even pinpoint the White House, or in New York…”

He mentioned New York to take a jibe at Biden as Trump’s trial is happening there, adding “when your Radical Left Fascists are finished with ELECTION INTERFERENCE against your Political Opponent, ME…I’LL DEBATE ANYPLACE, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME!" he reiterated in the post along with the video.

Trump has repeatedly labeled the hush money trial as 'election interference,' alleging it is supported by Biden, and has referred to it as a 'Biden Trial' while speaking to the press outside the courthouse.

Donald Trump gave a spirited reply to Joe Biden’s debate prospect

MEAWW previously reported that, in April, Biden said that he is “happy” to debate former President Donald Trump, though he did not specify when.

The comment was made during a one-on-one interview with radio host Howard Stern, who asked if the president had plans to debate his 2024 opponent.

“I am somewhere,” Biden responded, the first time he’s indicated he will debate Trump this election cycle. “I don’t know when. I’m happy to debate him.”

After Biden’s remark on Stern’s show on Sirius/XM, Trump’s campaign manager Chris LaCivita responded on social media.

“Ok,” he wrote on X, “let’s set it up!” However, Trump spilled cold water on it by posting on Truth Social at the time, saying, “Everyone knows he doesn’t really mean it, but in case he does, I say, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYPLACE, an old expression used by Fighters.”

Trump then quipped that Biden should debate him at his rally scheduled that week or in New York City where Joe Biden was at the time. He then wrote, “although probably doesn’t know it, and so am I, stuck in one of the many court cases that he instigated as ELECTION INTERFERENCE AGAINST A POLITICAL OPPONENT - A CONTINUING WITCH HUNT!"

He wrote that it was the only way Biden thought he could win. He then suggested he could debate on National Television, saying “I’ll wait around!"

Internet reacts to Donald Trump debate dare to Joe Biden

The recent post generated mixed reactions on X with one user commenting, “How will Joe Biden be able to even walk to the debate scene??? Genuine question,” and another tweeted, "Trump is one tough dude. I love for it."

Another reaction read, "Why did Joe Biden even accept the debate in the first place? Doesn’t he struggle to talk?’

One joked, “Hope Sal and Richard ask the questions.” Another wrote, “As far as I am concerned, if a candidate doesn’t debate then they do not want to be president. We don’t have dictators, we elect people.”

“Biden will never agree to a debate. Trump would humiliate him,” penned another individual.
