I don't want to hear one word from a guy with no kids, desperately sending our sons and daughters into war on the ground in Iran.
WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Nancy Mace criticized Sen Lindsey Graham for supporting the idea of sending more US troops to Iran. She argued that he should be taken out of the Situation Room and made her opposition clear, saying, "I don't want to hear one word from a guy with no kids."
Mace made this remark after Graham talked about “Operation Epic Fury” in an interview, in which he seemed to support sending US soldiers to fight on the ground. He also compared it to the Battle of Iwo Jima, where more than 6,800 American soldiers died.
Nancy Mace demands Lindsey Graham's removal from Situation Room
Nancy Mace showed her opposition to Lindsey Graham’s recent comments by posting not just once, but several times on X (formerly Twitter). In her first post on Sunday, March 22, she wrote, "Lindsey Graham needs to be removed from the Situation Room. I don't want to hear one word from a guy with no kids, desperately sending our sons and daughters into war on the ground in Iran."
Soon after, she shared another post where she criticized his past decisions. The South Carolina politician said Graham has only one "foreign policy," that is to "send someone else's kids to war."
"He was wrong about Iraq. He was wrong about Afghanistan. Now he's wrong about Iran," Mace stressed.

He was wrong about Iraq.
He was wrong about Afghanistan.
Now he's wrong about Iran.
She then reposted a newswire quote that said, "Lindsey Graham on Iran's Kharg Island: 'We did Iwo Jima. We can do this,'" and responded by pointing out that "Iwo Jima cost 6,821 American lives."
Later, Mace also posted a poll asking her followers, "Are you willing for your kid to die to lower the price of oil?" The poll has already received 9,163 votes and is still growing.
"Lindsey Graham wants American troops on the ground in Iran. Not his kids. Yours. Not for freedom. But for the price of oil. Unless he's suiting up for Kharg Island himself, he should sit down," she shared in another post.

Lindsey Graham backs possible ground troops in Iran
Lindsey Graham shared his views on the Iran situation during an interview with Shannon Bream on Fox News. He said the US should take control of Kharg Island, a major hub for Iran’s oil exports. He stated that he had told President Donald Trump that to weaken Iran in the long run, the US would need to “take Kharg Island, where they have all of the resources they have to produce oil.”
When asked if this would mean sending US troops on the ground, Graham brushed aside the concerns. He said, “I’m sort of tired of all this arm chair quarterbacking. This has been an amazing military operation. God bless the fallen.”

He also expressed strong trust in the military’s ability to handle such an operation, saying, “I trust the Marines. I trust DOD. We’ve got two Marine Expeditionary Area Units sailing to this island. We did Iwo Jima; we can do this. The Marines, my money’s always on the Marines.”
In another interview, he made it clear he was ready to back further action. Graham said, “I'm going back to South Carolina and asking them to send their sons and daughters to the Middle East.”
