Marco Rubio takes on yet another role as wedding DJ, adding to ‘Secretary of Everything’ image

WASHINGTON, DC: Often celebrated as the “Secretary of Everything," Marco Rubio seems to juggle an ever-expanding portfolio in Donald Trump’s administration, serving not just as Secretary of State, but also as National Security Adviser and even the chief archivist of the National Archives and Records Administration.

The Secretary of State lived up to that reputation as he appeared to add another role to his resume, stepping away from official duties and into a DJ booth at a wedding.

In a now viral video, Rubio can be seen behind the console pressing one earcup to his right ear as he leans over a laptop alongside another man, likely the event’s hired DJ.

The former Florida senator turned the reception into a Miami-style nightclub, as dozens of guests locked arms and danced in a lively circle. However, the identity of the wedding couple remains unclear.

At one point in the video, Rubio, with headphones still pressed to his ears, appeared completely locked in, even signaling to the DJ to pick up the tempo.

The viral video was shared to X by White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino Jr., writing, “MOMENTS AGO, BEHIND THE SCENES—Our Great Secretary of State @MarcoRubio DJ’s weddings too! Here he is in action tonight at a family wedding… Let’s goooooo!!!”

Rubio is not the only DJ in the White House. President Donald Trump is also known for handling music at his own gatherings at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump is known to be partial to showtunes, but the song he is most associated with is the Village People’s ‘YMCA.’ The president often refers to the track as the “gay national anthem” and performs a signature dance to the disco classic.

Fans react as Marco Rubio’s DJ stint goes viral

Rubio’s stint as a DJ left fans fawning over him, with one saying, “The man of a thousand hats!!”

“So now he has FIVE jobs? DJing on his off time?” the second one joked. “Such a wonderful team! Thank God! Marco should go to sleep soon; he needs to fix Spirit tomorrow,” the third one complimented.

“Dude is the jack of all trades that’s phenomenal. He should start doing everyone’s parties and weddings and things at the White House I mean aren’t there three babies about to be born; well one already born congratulations Karoline and two on the way?” the fourth one wrote.

“Jack of all trades!!!!! We don't need 100 people to do what he does. Just 1. You get the answers from 1 not a 100 that are useless. I just love this guy,” one more praised.
