WASHINGTON, DC: The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, reportedly ruled that former president Donald Trump's name has been excluded from the state's Republican presidential primary ballot over the January 6 Capitol riots under the “insurrection clause,” as per CBS News.

The aforementioned report also noted that “never before” has a court determined that a presidential candidate is disqualified under the clause, Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, and has dubbed this a “landmark decision.”

Republican congresswoman and one of Trump’s biggest supporters Marjorie Taylor Greene then took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express her thoughts on this decision made by the Colorado Supreme Court.
