WASHINGTON, DC: Former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed the administration after White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt refused to rule out a military draft, calling those involved "liars, every single one of them."

Greene expressed outrage over the ongoing conflict with Iran, arguing that the Trump administration has betrayed its campaign promises and is pursuing an "America LAST WAR."

Marjorie Taylor Greene quickly took to social media on Sunday, March 8, to blast the spokesperson's comments, interpreting the "options on the table" remark as a direct threat to American families.

She accused the administration of lying to the voters who elected them on a platform of ending overseas interventions.

Greene wrote, “Karoline Leavitt doesn’t rule out a draft. How about the answer is NO DRAFT AND NO BOOTS ON THE GROUND because we campaigned on NO MORE FOREIGN WARS OR REGIME CHANGE!!! Liars every single one of them!"

The former congresswoman took the issue personally, adding, “Not my son, over my dead body!!!!!”

Greene did not stop there, widening her attack to include other prominent Republican figures and media personalities. She warned that some in the party are even interested in expanding the draft to include women.

Greene shared a second post stating, "By the way a bunch of psycho Republicans want to not only draft your sons but your daughters too!!!!! Send Lindsey Graham, Mark Levin, and Laura Loomer and ALL the murderous blood thirsty maniacs that support this America LAST WAR."

She reminded her followers of her time in Washington, claiming, "They tried to add women to the draft to selective service multiple times while I was in Congress. Trump and Republicans need to guarantee that there will be NO DRAFT AND NEVER DRAFT OUR DAUGHTERS."

Karoline Leavitt keeps military draft option open

The backlash from Marjorie Taylor Greene was sparked by an appearance by Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Fox News’s 'Sunday Morning Futures.'

Anchor Maria Bartiromo questioned Leavitt about the possibility of a military draft and the deployment of ground troops, noting that families across the country have grown increasingly anxious.

When asked about the president's plans, Leavitt noted that the campaign has been largely fought from the air, stating, “It has been, and it will continue to be.” However, Leavitt suggested that a ground invasion or a draft remained possible as the administration assesses the situation.

“And President Trump wisely does not remove options off of the table. I know a lot of politicians like to do that quickly, but the president as commander in chief wants to continue to assess the success of this military operation. It’s not part of the current plan right now, but the president, again, wisely keeps his options on table,” Leavitt told Bartiromo.
