I SUPPORT TUCKER.

Trump doesn’t even know what MAGA is anymore and turned it into MIGA.
Trump is not America First, he’s donor first.

WASHINGTON, DC: Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has publicly voiced support for conservative political activist Tucker Carlson as a potential candidate in the 2028 US presidential race, even suggesting that Carlson could defeat President Donald Trump if both were candidates.
Greene’s remarks underscore a growing divide among prominent conservative figures and media personalities, particularly over the Trump administration’s military approach to the war in Iran.
Marjorie Taylor Greene backs Tucker Carlson for 2028
Greene openly backed Carlson as a possible presidential candidate in 2028, writing on social media, "I SUPPORT TUCKER." She further said, "Trump doesn’t even know what MAGA is anymore and turned it into MIGA."
Greene continued, "Trump is not America First, he’s donor first. Tucker would beat Trump if he ran for President and Trump tried to violate the constitution and tried to run again for a third term."
Her comments came after Trump criticized Carlson and said the former Fox News host had “lost his way.”
Trump told ABC News, “I knew that a long time ago, and he's not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America First, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.”
Greene defended Carlson after his criticism of Trump’s actions in Iran. He said on his podcast, “This is Israel’s war. This is not the United States’ war. This war’s not being waged on behalf of American national security objectives — to make the United States safer or richer. This war isn’t even about weapons of mass destruction, nukes.”
Conservatives split over Trump and Iran policy
Greene has also criticized the financial impact of the war. In a previous social media post, she argued that the conflict places a heavy financial burden on American taxpayers: “War with Iran is costing American taxpayers $1 billion dollars a day. Most American taxpayers will never receive a Social Security check because it will be bankrupt by 2033.”
Greene also linked the cost of the conflict to broader economic struggles faced by Americans: “Most Americans can’t afford health insurance policies because they are so expensive. Most American families cannot financially survive on a single income, and both parents have to work like slaves in order to feed their children and keep a roof over their heads.”
She concluded her criticism of the administration’s priorities by stating, “But the Trump administration has decided that these American taxpayers have to spend $1 billion a day to murder people and their children in a foreign country that none of us have ever met and know nothing about. Incredible MAGA priorities.”
The former congresswoman, who left Congress in January, was once a staunch supporter of Trump. However, she began to publicly distance herself from both Trump and the Republican Party in 2025, particularly over the handling of files related to convicted offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Greene announced her resignation from Congress in November 2025, stating that she wanted to “live life to the fullest as I always have, and look forward to a new path ahead.”
The announcement came amid an increasingly tense feud between Greene and Trump, with the president calling her “wacky” just days before she revealed her decision to step down. He later referred to her as a “traitor.”
Despite the criticism, Carlson declined to attack Trump personally, “There are times I get annoyed with Trump, right now definitely included. But I’ll always love him no matter what he says about me.”
