WASHINGTON, DC: Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene on Wednesday, March 4, criticized the Trump administration’s military involvement in Iran, claiming the conflict is allegedly draining $1 billion daily from American taxpayers.

Greene, who recently resigned from Congress, argued that this spending ignores the real struggles of the American people. She believes the government is prioritizing foreign wars over the financial survival of families at home.

Marjorie Taylor Greene links high war spending to family hardship

Taking to X, Marjorie Taylor Greene delivered a scathing critique of the Trump administration’s priorities.

She directly linked the high cost of overseas conflict to the financial struggles of American families, stating, "War with Iran is costing American taxpayers $1 billion dollars a day. Most American tax payers will never receive a Social Security check because it will be bankrupt by 2033.”

She added, “Most Americans can’t afford health insurance policies because they are so expensive."

Marjorie Taylor Greene questions 'MAGA priorities'

Greene further emphasized the personal toll on citizens, suggesting that the "America First" promise has been discarded in favor of foreign interests.

She wrote, "Most American families cannot financially survive on a single income, and both parents have to work like slaves in order to feed their children and keep a roof over their heads.”

“But the Trump administration has decided that these American taxpayers have to spend $1 billion a day to murder people and their children in a foreign country that none of us have ever met and know nothing about. Incredible MAGA priorities," she added.

Marjorie Taylor Greene warns younger generations of social security collapse

In an extensive post shared earlier, Greene warned younger generations that their mandatory contributions are effectively a lost tax because the system is being drained to fund military operations instead of being secured for the future.

She stated, "Social Security is getting robbed and all your money is being spent on all the stupid b******t that never benefits you, for example like Trump’s current war or Armageddon or whatever this c**p is."

Greene elaborated on this by pointing out that the average worker pays 6.2% into Social Security and 1.45% into Medicare, totaling a 7.65% FICA deduction that is matched by their employer.

She argued that GenX, Millennials, and GenZ, believing they will receive this money back in retirement, is a "lie" because Congress has failed to address insolvency.

She concluded by telling her followers that the deductions from their paychecks are simply another tax that will never be returned to them.

Her advice to the younger workforce was blunt. She said, "You better save for your retirement because you can’t count on even receiving a measly Social Security check one day even though you paid into it."
