WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene is being trolled brutally after she fell for a fake viral SOTUS barricade video and ended up sharing it on her official X account.

This happened as a misleading story was promoted by several right-wing accounts on X on Monday, June 17, claiming that barriers had been erected outside the Supreme Court in anticipation of its decision on former President Donald Trump's broad claims of immunity from prosecution, as per the Daily Beast.

In the now-deleted post, Greene shared the video with a caption that read, "This could be for the Presidential Immunity case later this week."

According to Daily Beast, the caption of the now-deleted post read, "BREAKING NEWS: A fence is being installed at the U.S. Supreme Court. The last time this happened was prior to the Roe v Wade decision."

However, Daniel Barnes, an NBC News court reporter, shared a picture of the court taken from across the street on Monday night, making it quite evident that no fencing or barrier of that kind had been installed.

Moreover, the video was taken in 2022, following the release of the conservative majority court's draft ruling that reversed Roe v Wade. Mitchell Miller, a Capitol Hill reporter for the Washington, DC radio station WTOP, shot the footage on May 5.
