Internet backs Jeanine Pirro's claim Trump won't cancel 'The View' if re-elected as it’s ‘not important'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On the June 20 episode of Fox News' 'The Five', Jeanine Pirro said there’s no possibility that a re-elected Donald Trump would attempt to cancel shows like 'The View' as they’re “not that important.”
The Fox News host made the remark in response to the June 18 episode of 'The View,' where Joy Behar and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow voiced concerns that Trump might retaliate and get the talk show canceled if he returned to the White House.

Jeanine Pirro dismisses Joy Behar's concerns of Trump using IRS for retribution
The feud between Donald Trump and ABC's 'The View' has continued over the years, with both sides trading insults and barbs in the media.
“This claim that Donald Trump is going to cancel ‘The View.’ First of all, you’re not that important,” Pirro said, adding, “Secondly, didn’t ‘The View’ air between 2016 and 2020? Alright? And didn’t Trump people go on ‘The View’ like Kellyanne Conway and Don Jr?”
“And they’re going to sic the IRS after her? We’re going to sic it on them?”

She added that Behar’s concerns were unfounded, continuing, “This whole prediction is so bizarre that it’s just unfathomable. I don’t know what they’re talking about."
Joy Behar and Rachel Maddow also discussed the possibility of the IRS being used against them if Trump were to secure a second term in the White House.
“There’s been a lot of talk about Trump seeking retribution if he gets into office,” Behar said, continuing, “He is so vindictive that he will go after whoever he has to: through the IRS maybe, or even through sponsors to get us off the air.”
However, Maddow expressed a broader concern beyond just the fate of television shows.
“I’m worried about all of us,” Maddow said on 'The View', adding “I’m no more worried about me than I am about everyone else in the country. I think it’s bad to have someone saying, ‘Give me as much power as you can in this country so I can use it to go after other Americans. So I can use it to go after these sub-human, internal enemies so I can destroy them.’”
Netizens polarized over Jeanine Pirro's remarks
Pirro's doubts about Trump trying to cancel shows like 'The View' if he is elected was met with divided reaction from viewers.
A viewer expressed, "Wow they are talking about themselves and calling it trump how sick these people truly are."
Similarly, another comment echoed, "Coming from the most vindictive people, hypocrisy gone wild."
Another individual elaborated, "They should be worried."
In a similar fashion, another observer added, "This makes me want to vote for Trump more than ever..."
Furthermore, a viewer pointed out, "Getting rid of the View would be the greatest event in history!"
Joining the discussion, a follower shared, "THE VIEW SHOULDN'T FLATTER THEMSELVES AND SAY THAT TRUMP WILL CANCEL THEM."
A remark underscored, "If someone could cancel the view, I'd vote for them for that reason alone."
