WASHINGTON, DC: Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene's birthday post went viral on social media on Monday. Greene, a Republican from Georgia known for her firm right-wing stance, marked her 50th birthday with a message on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.

Though many consider turning 50 to be "a bad thing", Greene stated that she thinks it's wonderful and is "so excited and grateful God let me live 50 years and do so many things."

What did Majorie Greene post on her 50th birthday?

In a viral post on X, Greene wrote, "Today I turned 50! Many people go into their 50th birthday thinking it’s a bad thing, but I truly feel it’s wonderful and I’m so excited and grateful God let me live 50 years and do so many things."

The post further read, "From being the first person to graduate college in my family, to carrying 3 babies in my womb and the absolute miracle of 3 childbirths, to raising my children and teaching them about God’s creation and man’s dangers, to running successful businesses and carrying the weight of the responsibility, being a member of congress, running, cycling, swimming, competing, training, reading, always learning, creating, building, skiing, surfing, hiking, making mistakes, learning lessons, and most importantly God’s grace that I don’t deserve but am thankful for beyond words, my 50 years have been an incredible journey that I’m thrilled to be on."

"And God willing, I’ll passionately continue each step following Him wherever the road leads," the post concluded.

In just two hours, the post on X went viral, receiving over 3,000 comments, over 20,000 views, and 688 reposts.

In response, a few well-known Republicans, including Kari Lake, the candidate for Arizona Senate, wished Greene a "happy birthday" on social media.

Jenna Ellis, the former attorney for Donald Trump, also sent her birthday wishes and the message, "Age is a gift from the Lord."

Others, however, expressed more critical views. Public relations consultant Eric Rosen wrote, "A Memorial Day message from MTG. "Me, me, me, me....""

Earlier on Monday, May 27, Greene shared a Memorial Day message on her official congressional X account. "Today, we honor those who paid the ultimate price for our liberty. Their sacrifice is the foundation of our freedom. #MemorialDay," she wrote.

Other commentators also criticized the Georgia representative. One social media user wrote, "And you should get 50 years in prison for committing treason against the United States, Still-At-Large Marge."

Another user talked about her picture in a bikini and said, "Put on some clothes, you are gross!!"

"You're not attractive because you know how to use Photoshop," one person remarked.

"That’s great but you belong in prison for your roles in the Insurrection. Justice is late. America deserves better," another added.
