Marjorie Taylor Greene's fiancé abruptly quits Washington after her fallout with Trump deepens
WASHINGTON, DC: A few months after former Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s resignation from Congress, her fiancé, Brian Glenn, has also decided to quit Washington.
Glenn, on Thursday, May 07, announced that he is stepping away from his role as White House correspondent for Real America’s Voice to begin a new chapter in Georgia, where he plans to build a life with his soon-to-be wife.
"I just want to slow everything down and just put my roots in Georgia. We're in the process of planning our wedding. Date to be determined," he told Daily Mail.
“I woke up on a Sunday morning, early, I got in my recliner, got my coffee, and I was just looking out the window. I have a lot of clarity early in the morning,”
“I said, ‘Well, I’m just thinking.’ And she’s like, ‘Thinking about what?’ I’m like, ‘I’m gonna resign.’ And she was like, ‘From work?’ I’m like, ‘Yep,’” he elaborated.
His last day at Real America’s Voice is Friday.
Brian Glenn says he dedicated his life to 'supporting Trump'
The 56-year-old journalist confirmed his departure in a lengthy X post, stating that he dedicated his “life to supporting President Trump and his MAGA agenda and the Republican Party, even at times when it was difficult to stand alone amongst a hostile environment.”
Thank you 🇺🇸

If someone would’ve told me back in 1989 when I accepted my first job in television that one day I would be standing in the Oval Office at the White House, I wouldn’t have believed you.

“The vast majority of my time was on the road, taking hundreds of flights a year and countless nights in hotel rooms, forcing me to spend far too much time away from those I love,” he wrote, adding, “I will always support America First policies and look forward to the future with the love of my life, MTG.”
Responding to the post, Greene, 51, praised her partner’s career achievements and said she was “proud” of him. “There is no one like Brian Glenn. I’m so looking forward to the next chapter of our lives and a future together,” she posted.
Marjorie Taylor Greene's fallout with Trump
Greene may have fallen out of Trump’s inner circle after her departure, but when it comes to her husband, the President’s admiration appears unwavering.
“I love this guy even though I don’t love his girlfriend too much,” Trump told Glenn last week during an Oval Office meeting as he couldn’t help but make a dig at Greene.
The former MAGA firebrand departed from Congress last year after the President threatened to endorse a GOP rival against her.
In her resignation, she said she had too much “self-respect and dignity, love my family way too much, and do not want my sweet district to have to endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me by the President.”
Since stepping away from Congress, Greene has emerged as one of several MAGA voices openly condemning the war in Iran, arguing that it runs counter to Trump’s long-promised “America First” agenda.
Last week, Greene alleged that Trump told her that she would "deserve" it if her son were murdered after she received death threats over her push to release the Epstein files.

Donald Trump texted me that if my son gets killed, I deserve it because I was a traitor to him. I’d probably get put in jail if I released the texts. That’s our president. That’s the man who says MAGA is everything he wants it to be. pic.twitter.com/XwYZ2aZY7n
She maintained that the threats began after he publicly branded her a “traitor” during a dispute over the release of the US government files on Jeffrey Epstein.
Greene alleged the president, who was once a close friend of the paedophile, pressured lawmakers and the Justice Department not to release the files.
