WASHINGTON, DC: Billionaire businessman Mark Cuban attended Joe Biden's second fundraiser on Wednesday, March 20 night in Dallas, Texas. Cuban voted for former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley in the 2024 GOP primary and is currently endorsing President Biden, according to ABC News.

Notably, Wednesday night's visit by Biden with Cuban, the former majority owner of the Dallas Mavericks, is a component of the president's broader endeavor to attract Nikki Haley's fans and funders after her withdrawal from the race.

Late Wednesday night, he confirmed his presence, telling ABC News that he "wanted to show my support and say hi to the President."

At the lavish Dallas neighborhood event, Biden drew attention to his disagreements with former President Donald Trump by posing the famous Ronald Reagan question, "Are you better off now than four years ago?"

Biden said, "Let me ask you – does anyone here want to go back to 2020? When fear ruled our lives and Trump was president? I don't think so." He also called on 'Democrats, independents and Republicans' to come together to take down Donald Trump once more.

According to an ABC News source, since Haley's campaign was stopped on March 6, the Biden team has also been holding Zoom conversations with her previous backers.

Notably, in March, Cuban told Bloomberg that he would vote for Biden over Trump. He claims to have voted for Haley in Texas.

The Biden campaign for reelection has expressed confidence in their ability to win over Haley supporters who are against a second term for Trump by convincing them to support the president in the fall.

The Biden-Harris campaign has used Haley's substantial vote share in the primary elections—which she received even after withdrawing from the contest—to support their claim that Trump will struggle to bring Republicans together in November.

A campaign aide said on a press call on Monday, March 18, "Nikki Haley is describing to the world exactly where and with whom Donald Trump is weak, and our campaign is paying attention to that and will be engaging voters very intentionally, to draw that contrast and invite them in."
