WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News host Mark Levin has sharply criticized the media, accusing them of descending into “increasingly pathetic” behavior over their coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Levin's comments came in the wake of President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race and his endorsement of Harris as his successor.

Mark Levin accuses media of superficial focus on Kamala Harris’ identity

On Monday, Mark Levin shared a social media post expressing his disdain for what he sees as the media's obsession with different facets of Harris's identity.

He stated, “Media getting increasingly pathetic by the minute in their campaign for Kamala,” referring to the media's portrayal of Harris following Biden's announcement.

Levin suggested that the media's focus has been misguided and superficial, emphasizing aspects like Harris’s “race, faith, gender, tough prosecutor image, fundraising prowess, and more.”

Levin further criticized the media for what he sees as hypocrisy and dishonesty, arguing that their portrayal of Harris has been overly positive compared to their past coverage of Biden.

“Suddenly, Kamala the disaster is Kamala the wonder woman (or is that pronoun?),” Levin said. “The media that lied to America about Biden now lies to America about Kamala.”

Expanding on his critique, Levin highlighted what he considers discrepancies in Harris’s and her family’s stances on various issues.

He questioned the media’s lack of coverage on Harris’s husband’s Jewish heritage and alleged silence on antisemitism, stating, “For example, did you know that Kamala Harris’s husband is Jewish? Oh yes, he has been full-throated in his denunciation of the antisemites in his party and in the streets. Actually, not."

"Well, then, he has been fully supportive of Israel’s battle against Hamas. Uh, well, no. But his wife, Kamala, and his daughter have been actively speaking in defense of Israel. Nope, quite the opposite. His daughter hates Israel and Kamala celebrated the rioters (just not the more extreme elements, she said),” he added.

Mark Levin slams media bias and accuses GOP of incompetence amid Kamala Harris’ ascension

Mark Levin's critique extended to the broader political landscape, where he accused the media of bias in favor of Harris and criticized the Republican Party’s lackluster response to these developments.

In another post, he added, “The Democrat Party is about to install an unelected nominee as its presidential candidate, after weeks of conniving, lying, covering up, and the rest, but it’s the GOP and Trump campaign trying to get its footing? These bums are such shameless liars and propagandists.”
