Meghan Markle reveals the meaningful role she considers to be her ‘superpower’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle is busy with her life now more than ever. The 'Suits' alum recently sat down for an interview ahead of her production company's first ever documentary, 'Cookie Queens' and revealed her biggest "superpower."

The Duchess of Sussex shared that she considers being a mom and juggling everything a "superpower." She even explained that the path of balancing requires "grace and grit at the same time."

During her recent interview with Instyle, Markle received questions from a group of children and she answered each with class and grace. When asked what she considers to be her "superpower," the mother-of-two answered, "being a mom."

"I feel like we have superpowers because we juggle it all," Markle stated. "And enjoy it all with grace and grit at the same time," she added. 

Markle also revealed how her daughter makes her feel "brave." She shared, "Every day, when I feel a little bit like, 'Oh gosh, can I do this?' I go, 'Lili would do it,'" she quoted. 

The 45-year-old shares children, Princess Lilibet, 5, and Prince Archie, 7, with Prince Harry. As per People, during the interview, Markle also opened up about her childhood and revealed who she considered a role model when she was young.

"It always goes back to your teachers," Markle said. "I had a great teacher, Miss Linda. I looked up to her so much. She was my math teacher, and I am not good at math," she recalled.

During the same interview, the actress also spoke out about the girls featured in 'Cookie Queens' documentary. She called them "multi-dimensional and honest" and said she experienced "Just (being) behind the scenes and getting to know them through this process, how they’ve all become close with each other and support each other."

The upcoming documentary from Markle's production company follows several Girl Scouts as they explore their lives and learn how to be confident, how to lead and work under pressure while selling cookies. Speaking with People, Markle shares why the documentary made her emotional.

“When we first saw the teaser several years ago, it was just a few minutes in length and still being put together, but it was very clear that Alysa’s vision as a director was capturing something special,” she said. 

“The music, the cinematography, the honesty. It made both of us laugh out loud and also feel such emotion as parents. We knew we wanted to help uplift this project in any way we could," Markle added.
