MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle shared a rare glimpse into her family’s Easter celebrations in California, featuring Prince Harry and their two children.

The Duchess of Sussex, on Sunday, April 5, posted a series of clips on Instagram highlighting the holiday traditions enjoyed by Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The holiday highlights shared by Meghan on Instagram featured 6-year-old Prince Archie and 4-year-old Princess Lilibet immersed in the spirit of the season.

One video showed the siblings racing across the lawn with baskets in hand, with Lilibet sporting festive bunny ears during the egg hunt.

In another clip, the two children walked along a stone garden path with a dog following behind them, their baskets already filled with holiday toys and candy.

Lilibet was also seen enjoying the outdoors barefoot in a pink floral-print dress, clutching two stuffed animals as sunlight caught her long red hair.

Beyond the egg hunt, the couple’s eldest child showcased his creativity during the celebration.

Archie was filmed using a spinning device known as "The Dinomazing Egg Decorator" to carefully apply colorful stripes to Easter eggs.

The Duchess also included the family’s animals in the celebration, sharing footage of their chickens being fed fresh lettuce as a special holiday treat.

To mark the occasion, Meghan kept her message brief and cheerful, captioning the clips with a simple "Happy Easter!"

Meghan Markle continues private Easter tradition in California

The post follows Meghan’s pattern of sharing small, personal family moments. In April 2025, she posted a video of a mother duck and her ducklings visiting their driveway.

At the time, she wrote, "Wishing you a Happy Easter full of love….and surprises!" while the video played to Louis Jordan’s "Choo Choo Ch'Boogie."

While the wider Royal Family gathered this year for their traditional Easter service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, Meghan has often missed the event.

She was absent in 2018 ahead of her wedding and again in 2019 while pregnant with Archie, though Harry, 41, attended the latter alone during their time at Frogmore Cottage.

Since relocating to California in 2020, the Sussexes have continued to prioritize raising their children away from the public eye.
