Megyn Kelly slammed Joy Reid for questioning 'Moms for Liberty' co-founder Tiffany Justice's expertise
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Conservative political commentator Megyn Kelly slammed MSNBC anchor Joy Reid, calling her an "idiot" after she interviewed conservative activist Tiffany Justice on January 19.
Justice, who is a co-founder of the group 'Moms for Liberty,' had called for public schools to remove books with explicit sexual content from student libraries, according to the New York Post.
During her interview with Reid, she dissented from the anchor's suggestion that her group was seeking to “ban books.”

Tiffany Justice's interview with Joy Reid
On her show 'The Reid Out,' the anchor enquired about the efforts of 'Moms for Liberty' to forcibly ban the book 'All Boys Aren’t Blue' by George M Johnson.
A young-adult memoir, it has already been banned by at least 29 school districts nationwide due to its sexually explicit content, reported the Post.
“What a tragic story of a young man who is anally raped by an adult family member,” said Justice of the book. She was of the opinion that it should not be available to students in school libraries since it deals with "incest, rape, and pedophilia."
“In what context is a strap-on dildo or the rape of a minor child by a teacher acceptable for public school?” Justice asked of Reid, who countered her by questioning why the activists “get to decide what books tens of thousands of children get to read?”
Justice later objected to Reid accusing her group of attempting censorship.
"No one is banning books," she said. "Write the book, print the book, publish the book, put the book in the public library, sell the book, right? We’re talking about a public school library.”
